It's so weird, I just finished maths with my daughter and I stressed her with my voice today. And this came..., God is definitely talking to me. I BETTER CHANGE
Thank you jady, I knew my tone of voice was harsh but actually seeing it gives it a new meaning. Today I break the harsh tone from me in the name of Jesus I declare I'm free and use the sweet tone I desperately want to use 🙏.

I have the same problem too i laughed with the intro because that was me teaching my child and i hate myself afterward, so hard for me to have a sweet tone all the time gets frustrating but i never give up praying hopefully someday i can fight this battle to myself..
Omg! The harsh scenario shown in this video totally depicts me with my kids, by everything i meant even the dialogues, the gestures, the tone, everything! Plead guilty 🤚. I always triec to keep my calm and work on myself but ended up repeating the same mistake over again. However, I will now practice to be consistent. I just love Jady's level of patience and understanding ❤ and i wish i will be like u someday. Hats off to a mother like u. Thanx for this video ❤

This has been on my heart lately because The Lord has shown me that I'm harsh in my tone towards my children. I have tears in my eyes because this has been me, and I'm so saddened but thankful that The Lord is showing me his grace and I have to make sure I extend it to my children. Thank you for this very timely reminder! You are such an encouragement Jady!

I feel the same way 🥺 We got this ! Let’s not forget that , they’re learning at their own pace , but so are we .
Thank you for this eye opening video. While watching the first scenario, I saw a lot of myself in it. I home school my kids and I must admit I use a strong tone sometimes. This video has helped me to be more mindful about my tone of voice and also the reinforcements I use. Thank you for being a light
Thank you for this video! I realize my tone of voice is reflecting how my toddler is acting at home and at school. This is a wake up call for me to change and be a better example for my kids!
Everything you said here is 💯. Thank you for this reminder. Stress, the fear of them being defiant and our screens cause these harsh tones as you’ve pointed out. We hope to catch ourselves when we drift off the gentle tone. Thanks Jady.❤️

Yeah it is
This is totally true. Whenever i see parents shouting and screaming at their kids, these are the kids that dont listen to anything.
The harsh tone parent was my mom spot on and even worse at times. Sadly, I also saw myself in the video as well. I want to change because it definitely hurt my relationship with my mom who I lost over five years ago. Lord help us to change for the better!
Oh man this is my biggest issue. Thank you for sharing
Jady, I can not thank you enough! I struggle with this everyday, and I have been praying about it. Your channel changed my life! I have been a subscriber of you channel for 5 years, and this channel is so much more than educational content … but about a life style!
Thank you Lord for conviction. Thank you Jady. I needed to see this reminder.
I agree 100% with Jady. Thank you for this awakening. Before I started homeschooling in 2019, I was blessed to attend a workshop for homeschooling Moms in my area. What an eye opening. One of the Speakers, said - do not start homeschooling if your have unbalanced emotions and cannot control your temper. She said even if you can, on days when you are not well emotionally, rather not homeschool that day.
u really have well mannered kids , Please make a video of all the manners rules or how to get kids listen to Parents
You posted this at the perfect time 🙌🏾 This is something I’ve been working on for weeks. My parents always had the harsh tone at all times and when I started homeschooling this year I noticed if I got frustrated I would do the same. I started consciously stopping myself and looking inside myself to look at the root of this trigger and learning to stop reacting that way. God is good and is giving me the patience more and more everyday to be a fully gentle parent. You’re awesome!
I needed to see this! I’m about to wake my children for the day now. Thank you 😊
I just cried . I said this yesterday and was so harsh. Thank you for opening my eyes .
Thank you my sister God richly bless you. ALMIGHTY JEHOVA has used you to transform my otherwise very impatient and bad tone while teaching my son. God bless you forever
Jady this made me tear up. I have followed you for a long time and love how you challenge me to do the Hard things, well! Thank you.
This is heartbreaking and eye opening. I see myself in the harsh tone. Even my kids said that sounds like me
Thank you for this video, watching this video made me realize that Im doing something bad and that every day you can learn something new and as parents the learning never ends❤️
You are so so right. I’m embarrassed that I have raised my voice so much. Thank you for all your videos.
Very true ! Such an amazing video...though most of us know this but putting it into practice is so much important. Thanks for the beautiful reminder.
This really spoke to me. I have been praying recently for help in being slower to anger and for help in raising my children so they know they are loved ❤️ this video came at the perfect time. I have been so much more conscious of my tone with my son thank you for these videos
Right on Jady!! Thank you ❤️ the truth will set us free.👌
Thank you for this reminder. I always try to remember how I used to feel as a child so I don’t make the same mistakes my parents made when raising me. I try to use the sweet low voice all the time, but sometimes I catch myself using the harsh tone. When this happens I apologize to my child and explain that I’m not frustrated with her. It’s good to get these reminders though. We wouldn’t talk to a friend, neighbor, or coworker in harsh tones, so why would we talk to a child like this. It’s never acceptable to be mean to a child. We have to guide and love and be the unfailing support our children need to thrive. Thanks Jady 💜
Couldn’t agree more with you! I actually ended up crying after seeing what a difference it makes. I will for sure be implementing your advice from now on. Thank you so much!!
Thank you for this video. I want to remind this myself, the relationship is more important over the result. Thank you Jady!
This couldn't have come at a better time. I am guilty of the first example and I know it is because of how I was raised. Since I've recently acknowledged it, I want to work hard before it becomes habitual. Thank you for creating this video. I'll be sure to share it with other parents.
I'm the harsh voice majority of the time. please share more of this content. I honestly struggle with this. Do you have any parenting book recommendations that I could read to help me as well?

@@Mahagony1985 I find that I resemble a lot of the parenting styles I received when I was a child. And now struggle to control my bursts of anger. I believe self care is also important and getting enough sleep. We can definitely do this with lots of practice and break that parenting cycle.
Thank you!!!! I’m going to start practicing these techniques immediately. God bless you and your family💞
Jady, this video was eye opening. I have said every single thing you did in scenario #1. I was raised by a "yeller" and so I am very aware of keeping my composure enough to not yell. By watching this video I now see that speaking in a harsh tone can do just as much damage as yelling. Thank you so much for bringing this to light and I am now trying to keep both yelling and speaking in a harsh tone out of my parenting.
AHHH ANSWER TO PRAYER!!!
Thank you for encouraging and sharing wisdom for other mommas! I was raised in a home that used harsh town disappoint and would shame you for making mistakes. I knew I wanted to be better but for lack of knowledge of what was better I would fall into the same style of parenting as I was raised it. Many thanks to you for opening my eyes to general parenting based off of a good foundation on relationship! I’m so grateful for your beautiful spirit!
Wow, I’m the hard person, I’m hard on my grandkids! Thank you for this roll play cause I didn’t see myself this way! Thank you soo much for open my eyes! God Bless you! 🙏🏼🕊️
This is such a good video! I think as busy moms, we sometimes forget about the importance of our voices to our kids. Thanks, Jady, for reminding us.
I'm both! I'm working on that Jady A! You're a Phenomenal woman 👠 who has great values and Godly principles that you applied and demonstrate every day for yourself and your family! You have beautiful and wonderful children which such great values instilled in them by your wonderful Grace. Thank you for inspiring us and to applied these LAWS and PRINCIPLES in our daily lives to create a healthy world 🌎. Love you and your work and your beautiful family 💖💖. You guys stay safe 🙏
Yes! Thank you for this! This also translates into how they speak to themselves throughout life, as they grow up as well!
Honestly watching the first scenario, I was very convicted. I need to work on this. Thank you for listening to the Lord and being a light. Your girls did wonderful helping you to share your message.
I just can’t thank you enough for posting this at the right time. I’m just sitting here crying because I definitely use a harsh voice at times when I’m super stressed. It’s so hard being a stay home mommy but I’m definitely going to take your advice. Thanks again! Love all your videos. 🥰

Wow I’m definitely harsh 😔 just this morning we were running late and my son was walking too slow for my liking and I nudged his backpack slightly but in a rude way. I wish I can take it back I feel so bad 😭 And it was even my fault we were running late, wow! I’m definitely a highly stressed and overwhelmed single parent, but going to try the sweet tone ☺️ right this moment. Thanks!

I tore up reading this, we all do this at times and to hear my son correct me, not to be unkind or be a bully. Hearing that, made me make the change with how I respond when I'm stressing or overwhelmed. Punctuality helps to keep stress away as well, so I start with that. Each day, each moment is a blessing to have with our children.
Thank you so much for this today! I found myself becoming the harsh mom, who always had a hard voice. I had allowed the stress of life to mold me as a mother and forgot how much I loved and valued the relationship with my children. For the past little over a month I have been trying to get back to being the gentle sweet mom. So today I found myself giving in to the stress for just a moment, then while I was making dinner I turned on your video, and was reminded why I am trying to break this habit of harshness and remain in the lord's peace and show that through my tone of voice.
Wow! Lord forgive me for being harsh verbally with my loving children. Thank you so much for pointing this out to me. I find myself being harsh with my words when I'm in fear or anxious.
I started a project center in relationships and the information provided here is totally aligned with my findings. And just a little spill to help those who have difficulties in maintaining composure, when you speak or address your child think about the way you would speak to your boss. The only difference in this situation is the foundation between you and your kids is based I love, and between you and your boss is your fear of losing your job. Always remember lot of horrible things are done with good intentions and in the name of love. Let's raise our consciousness and be the best version of ourselves when dealing with other human being.
A lot of truth! Thank you so much for the reminder and awareness 🥰 in my case it’s the stress… I have a new born and I noticed that I’ve been more stressed lately. Intentionality is crucial. Thank you again! Bendiciones :)
I needed this video. I use a calm and soft tone of voice most of the time. But when I get frustrated/ill/tired I definitely lose my patience and I use a harsh approach..
Thank you for the reminder to be more of a gentle parent. Your page is a blessing for many of us parents. God bless you and your family x
Thank you for this video. This is my greatest struggle that I’ve faced that I have not been able to conquer yet. Thankfully I’ve had great improvement but when stressed or tired it comes out. Today has been that day and this video popped up on my feed at the perfect time. Thank you. I’ve seen my oldest talk to her toddler sisters in a hateful manner lately and it’s shame I feel when I realize that must be me reflecting in her. I appreciate the other moms commenting their struggle. In helps me to not feel so alone and ashamed.
Jady when you said "treat your children the way you'd want to be treated if you were sitting in that chair," that was so eye opening! It's so easy to let ourselves get frustrated when we homeschool, but it's not worth the harshness, which will undoubtedly scar them, and tarnish the relationship.
Thank you for another outstanding message Jade. I really appreciate the way you address the health benefits
I'm literally in tears right now, upset with myself that I sound harsh with my 3 year old ( mainly meal times and home school times) Thank you so much that you showed an image of looking from the OUTSIDE IN. You are a gift, Jady, thank you. I'm the sweet-toned mom who can be harsh sometimes. My eldest is now 16 and has always been a challenging child. I have noticed that my frustration and stress regarding him will sometimes transfer unintentionally to my younger children. I've been working on being more mindful of my tone with everyone and this is such a great reminder and at a very needed time.
Definitely felt conviction. Needed that reminder.

Just wanna say thank you for this video. I just started homeschooling two weeks ago and it can be stressful sometimes. I've caught myself being the harsh toned mom several times. Thank you sooo much for this video! I have so much to work on and I will always remind myself to treat my kids the way I would like to be treated. Thank you for this reminder. We now have a 4 week old baby girl added to our family. With the lack of sleep and as adjustment for us all I have sadly fallen into the snappy and mean voice with our six year old. Before this it was her and I and I have been blessed to be home with the her all these years. Our bond was amazing. This has taken a hit to our relationship and her behavior and she is definitely a mirror of my off behavior. I watched this video this morning and have been kind and gentle voiced for the day. Thank you Jady. It has created the best environment for my daughter, myself, my husband and our new baby girl. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
Thank you so much for this, for your encouragement and wake up call to so many of us. God bless you for the work you're doing and helping all of us moms around the world ❤️
