Switch needs better social community connection

Sending prayers that whenever the reveal happens, or if not, everything goes well either way.

I think there's a good chance they could confirm its existence and we hear the codename and release window, but probably not more than that.

@@YoshiFan13 Actually my guess wasn't that spot on. They did confirm its existence, but not its codename or release window. We didn't get a codename and they just told us the window for the ANNOUNCEMENT, not for its release. I was right about them confirming its existence, but I don't feel like that was a hard guess to make. Still, it's great that they finally confirmed it.

It might not be tomorrow, but if there's any credence to a previous rumour that there's still a chance it could come out this year, we'd have to see a public announcement sooner rather than later. Even if it's early next year, it can't be much longer. Again, maybe not a full-blown teaser tomorrow, but Nintendo will be telling somebody something, I am sure there will be something akin to leaks (or "leaks") right away, so that's still exciting.

I don’t care about the switch portability at all maybe if I was a kid I would’ve loved it. I preferred the Ds and 3ds etc. I just want the next 3d Mario game which will probably be the system seller for switch 2. And I hope the switch 2 has some good specs because the switch is still underpowered

I bought a Portholic Wii2HDMi about 2 weeks ago since my TV only accepts HDMi connections. The picture quality is really nice. I haven't experienced any issues with it on any of the games that I tested. It also allowed me to finally 100% Super Mario Sunshine which is nice.

It's pretty easy to predict possibilities. Rumors have their use. It's make you imagine stuffs by deducting possible truth from the absurd and understanding the weakness of the actual system while thinking about how to innovate and improve it. Even if it's doesn't address them all, it will in the future gen until we become all androids. Nintendo competitor are the Mobile (pocketable tablet, always with you for generation to come) and PC (cheap games, software and hardware backward compatibility for generation to come). With an 8 inch bezel less curved edge screen with rotation enabled to all four side, you can magnetically suction cupped connect others Switch 2 on any four side, up to who knows how many Switch 2. Even the dock and Joycons can connect to any four side. That magnetic thingy is to remove stress on the connection material in comparison to the rail system which need human strength that cause the lock plastic chipping and rail widening. Kids were never good at taking care of thing they use. With a Joycons strap that act an an adapter to old Joycons which has a removable cord and a rail cover. Adding to that, a better phone app to use as a second screen through an adapter. Plus the Switch 1 wont stay in the Switch 2 shadow, since you can also connect it in the EGPU powered dock whether it can use that power or not. If Nintendo don't go all out Mobile and PC will get to it before them.

I'm not holding my breath to Nintendo revealing their next console this month. We'll most likely probably get a shadow drop this month, but as for the summer definitely an Nintendo Direct is coming revealing games coming out the rest of the year, as of the new console who knows probably September there reveal it.

It is the day.

May 7 could also be the day that the discovery of the Holy Grail, Amelia Airheart returns and be the day that DarkSydePhil becomes filthy rich but hey, I'll concede to the next Switch.

I already commented, but just commenting again because: June direct is my guess for announcement. June until March (leaked time for switch 2 release, if we’re willing to trust this) is about 9 months? I think that’s pretty good time for some more marketing and building hype until it releases, so that’s what I’m guessing

One thing I hope will be announced tomorrow is the sales for the Super Mario RPG remake. It sold 3 million in the first 6 weeks after it was released so I think it will become the best selling Mario RPG. If there's anything that would convince Nintendo that they should go back to the original style of Paper Mario and other Mario RPGs like Mario & Luigi, it's the big number

the sponsor is misleading, the converter will not upscale the wii's internal resolution, the picture is still clearly 480p (or rather, 480i) it just converts the wii's av out to hdmi out

just because nintendo did that in the past that doesn't mean they are going to do the same path again this is why it's very important to take rumors and what nintendo did in the past with a grain of salt because you are going to set yourself with disappointment sure some do turn out to be true but some rumors and what nintendo did in the past what most believe turn out to be false well or me i don't believe that nintendo will announced anything tommrrow about next gen nintendo hardware and codename either that's just my difference perspective take i just think it's not realistic at all to be honest but i respect your take of you believe it's tomorrow so what if nintendo is so quiet i love that nintendo is getting so quiet this is why you need to be careful not to believe in every rumors because rumors are not always facts i'm pateince i don't mind waiting forever i get that it's not always easy to be pateince that's why the majority you guys are always so impateince but i think that good things happen when we are pateince that pateince is always key i think it's a good idea to me i disagree that it's a bad idea the only reason why you are saying that because you are being impatinece i think you need to be pateince

You are right on the money: Nintendo is a publicly traded company, they are not allowed by law to disclose information to investors in a discretionary way. Investor acting on that kind of information would constitute insider trading and go straight to jail. Japan regulations are among the harshest in the world. It doesn't matter how many meetings there were, in all of them Nintendo will have basically rehashed the same information. If anything discretionary ever happened, Nintendo would definitely not mention it in any report, and you would never hear about it. Nintendo Prime's "report" on this is pure wishful thinking.

This longest they’ve waited to release a new console since Nintendo existed and I can’t figure out why, although I have a feeling it might have to do with all the switches they’ve made; Base, OLED,Lite and they said something about the stock market so maybe they made too many and have to sell as many as possible to avoid having a million consoles they won’t sell. Just a guess, I don’t know anything about selvaging unsold consoles or if they would just bring the price down.
