I agree that the show is underrated, but I think part of the show's brilliance is that it makes the watcher feel clever - like they are part of the understanding 'in' group. The show itself is actually really accessible, but has enough nods that most viewers can catch the references and feel good about themselves.

Prefer this to Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen. She delivers it like she just thought of it, which ironically is what they say is the way to do it.

That's the point in the context of the show!! She is just talking and comes out with the soliloquy which Shakespeare then writes down as his own idea!
