Feminism before there was feminism. Wouldn't it be cool if Jack The Ripper actually tried to assassinate a woman adept in the ways of Kung Fu and got his a@^ handed to him? Limehouse was the location of London's first Chinatown from the 1880's. This would have been the time Jack The Ripper was around.

this show is so underrated. It goes over the heads of most.

I agree that the show is underrated, but I think part of the show's brilliance is that it makes the watcher feel clever - like they are part of the understanding 'in' group. The show itself is actually really accessible, but has enough nods that most viewers can catch the references and feel good about themselves.

Prefer this to Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen. She delivers it like she just thought of it, which ironically is what they say is the way to do it.
