Yo, the height difference is insane!! Saw it especially at 0:48 when Yamamoto gave his teammate a fistbump. I always thought Haikyuu was exaggerating, but that looks like a foot and more difference between some of these guys. Makes it easier to roll, but jeez I can't imagine how intimidating that is. Especially since some of those saves looked like he was trying to redirect a rocket. Mad respect!!

an incredible play will never happen without a great receive. a consistent reception can even cause mental strain to the other team, that's why liberos are important, they keep the ball alive. in this sport whoever drops the ball first looses. i think this is what nekoma meant with their team motto "connect"

I don’t know much about volleyball , but it’s amazing how he is able to receive those balls high enough and perfectly to this the setter so they can counter attack with no issues , it’s like he is not thinking about just saving the ball but also about how he can get it to his setter in the best way possible

Yow whaaat? I just watched video of the 56th Haruko highschool boys game Seijoh high vs Ohtsuka for the first time, then clicked this one. It blows my mind seeing #14 Ishikawa playing here is the same kid I literally just watched moments ago playing for Seijoh high - turns out the 56th Haruko was around a decade ago ! Woah! The dude's living the MC life he was so young and scrawny in highschool but his hits were already solid back then - really amazing to see he actually made it and went pro - he's all grown up too! I feel like a proud aunt ~!

I don't know who it is, but there's a guy in this video with a crazy powerful serve. Everytime he serves, you can hear the huge smack when his palm meets the ball. Reminds me of Oikawa with his super powerful serve.
