holy moly, i cant believe i got this run!, 1:23 has been my goal and what i ended up here is a sub 1:23:30?! unreal, RNG was abit rough in a few places with butterflies but i got all 1 frame tricks (pig bags and mouse skip) ultimately such a clean run, god run would be a high 1:22 i'd say, but man oh man, i'm so stoked about this!
For now i'm probably putting down the category, havent completely decided, but while i think about it, i'm going back to any% runs to try and cut a few more seconds in that

I forgot all about this game existed, absolutely loved it when I was a kid lol. Really hard for me at those times but enjoyed it nevertheless

@@SvenskSork I played the fuck out of the demo back on the day, when I bought the game later, I only liked playing the first level lol.
I can't imagine what the hell it was to optimize all details.. GG for this incredible run !! :D

haha i appreciate that but its probably my biggest timeloss overall, the difference between a sub 1:23 and something i want to work on when i eventually return to the game

It's not a "remake" my dude, they are just porting it using a fancy emulator (carbon engine). It isn't in any way a true remake. Regardless, I will be throwing my money at them.

@@Kev-O33 no, that was an actual remake from the ground up. Tomba is literally being emulated via carbon engine, emulating a game isn't the same as remaking it.

Tomba is being re-released, they used the wrong terminology when they revealed it. It'll be more like castlevania symphony of the night being re-released as requiem, it'll be the same game just with new soundtrack.
Oh, I always thought you had to do the race bronze->silver->gold in order. Did I just trick myself into thinking that without bothering to try otherwise?

yeah, with the way the pigs work, they cannot spawn outside the camera's view, so running to a specific spot to manipulate the spawn is a great way to get the bosses done quickly
1:02:20 are they peeing on that flower?? 😂
you can finish it in less time, you made some mistakes
