Quick heads up the dlc trophy for collecting all items (gifts of wonderland) is bugged post patch as is the basets stash one post patch but it worked pre patch. There is a workaround for that one though. So everything is obtainable now aside from those two Just wanted to say you kept dying to natla because you kept jumping backwards, just jump left and right and she cant hurt you lol unless you are really unlucky. Also you could have done the new game plus for the save less than 86 and the dont use medipacks, that way you can heal between save points and never accidently go over the save limit. But as you were pre-patch i think they didnt unlock properly. They do after the patch for anyone curious As for the ones that didnt pop, some of them just dont in new game plus, like the speedrun one. As for the raptor one i too took 3 or 4 goes at that one, i think them walking into you voids it not just the damage.

That death montage was GLORIOUS, so thank you for that, good sir :') Congratulations on getting the platinum trophy for TR1!! It looked downright painful at times, but I'm so happy you managed to get all of them, despite some of them breaking. I'm not trophy hunting for these games (some of these trophies are way beyond my skill level lol), but I try to unlock whichever ones I'm able to. But sadly, I think the Corner Bug trophy broke on me, bc I did the glitch and the trophy didn't chime. I'm looking forward to seeing how you 100% TR2, if you do a video for that! Amazing video, this was such a treat to watch!!

to be fair, it is not so much difficult when you understand the mechanics of this game and the trigger points of enemies. You just have to internalize it. Still, it's a very frustrating game ;D

TR2 NG+ is the easiest. the hardest is TR3 followed by TR1, then TR2.

At least the save crystals in TR1 and 3 fully heal Lara! Unlike TR2’s complete lack of healing methods (other than finishing the stage..yikes!)

As I said before, I was glad to complete Tomb Raider games as best I could xD But this, my friend, is whole new level and I absolutely enjoyed your journey to get every trophy. Congratulation! You earned it, you are amazing ;) Love the humor behind naming those achievments!

I completed it last night, last trophies on the list! After going for all other 65 trophies in the first play through, didn’t seem that bad, with saving as often as you find crystals AND getting your health restored every time! It was thanks to your video, thank you 😃😃

A little trick I used for some trophies was making an extra save. So for example I can do a pistols only run but still get the trophy for killing Natla with magnums or not killing the T-Rex but getting all saves. Make a save just before where the trophy is required, play until it pops then load back to the previous save.

Yeah, absolutely, and I usually do things this way, but I had a video in mind the entire time, so I wanted to make the footage as dramatic as possible. Plus, I wasn't sure if the game would register me using a Medi Pack on a playthrough, despite reloading my game afterwards, as it's not entirely clear how trophies are tracked always. But yes, you are right 😅 That's the sensible way to do it, indeed.

@@AxMania If you are curious most things dont track if you reload. The only things that do are things like die in each way as that isnt tied to the save (when you die you load a previous save state)

I set to unlock platinum for Tomb Raider 2- took me around 4 playthroughs. Trying to combine pistols only, new game plus and minus 6 hours and insane, I commend you on your bravery !

Oh my gosh! I'm so glad I'm not the only one who suffered from this platinum! It took me 17 playthroughs because I thought the bugs were my fault! I'm so excited to see your Tomb Raider 2 video. So far, I have 55/67 for Tomb Raider 2's Platinum.

@@AxMania Just a heads up for tr2, you can save anywhere in ng+ but the only way you can heal is collecting all the secret dragons as they are the only way to get medi packs. For the love of god dont do the pistol only run in ng+ in tr2 lol

Very Nice! I'm also obsessed with getting Trophies, and also with Classic Tomb Raider, so I actually got every single trophy for all 3 games and all 3 expansions on both the PS4 and the PS5 versions of the game (except for Gifts of Wonderland because it's still bugged unfortunately)

In TR2 i have a trophy bug in the Offshore rig level. I grabbed her pistols without touching the water and.....Nothing. Even a second time i still got nothing. Watching the video i can imagine the frustration you had when a trophy did not pop up. Congrats of getting the Platinum trophy. It is well earned!!

I LOVE the optimism of "I can speedrun NG+ with pistols only, no problem". 😀 Been there, brother. Decided on 3 playthroughs after all just to keep my sanity in check. 😀Still collecting TR3, though, first two are ahead of me. I was quite shocked when I found out what New Game+ truly was 😫 I am NOT looking forward to Tomb Raider III with pistols only, let me tell ya. Or speedrunning it in less than 6 hours. The fastest I've ever done Tomb Raider III was 7 hours...

Hahaha, it was! I have the Platinum in both Demon's Souls and Bloodborne, and New Game+ with pistols definitely rivaled those, if it didn't surpass it. Yeah, I hope so as well. Apparently it has sold really well, so I think there's a solid chance for it.

Goddamn, some of those trophies sound absolutely nightmarish to obtain. Good job on managing them!

This was such an entertaining video that it inspired me (I imagine quite a few) to be brave and attempt it. Having already done a basic play-through I ended up doing two similar to yours only less difficult. Was able to learn from your mistake of doing all the harder stuff on NG+. First was NG+ run getting all pickups and doing cleanup trophies that I missed. Then a normal play through with just pistols but getting all kills and in less than 5 hours. How you did the end part of Sanctuary of the Scion with two extra mutants, I have no clue. Massive props to you 🙌. I almost gave up against just three enemies and I was using uzi’s 🤣 Heads up to anyone who has thought about doing this. If you are on PS5 like me you don’t get a platinum trophy for this! Would have appreciated knowing this before I attempted 😭 However I had a fun time doing it and it’s all down to this video. Also got me watching the rest of your content AxMania and you have a sub for life my friend. Keep up the good work 🫡

It's very weird, but it happens every time I release a video. To be honest, I have no idea how I did that stupid Sanctuary of the Scion section either, it was a true nightmare! 😂 I genuinely thought I had ruined my playthrough. Yeah, it sucks that the PS5 version doesn't have Platinum trophies. It makes no sense. Once again, thank you so much for your kind words my friend, I really appreciate it!

Props man! Especially the NG+ and pistols only on the same play through. I cheesed it knowing the level skip cheat did not disabled the Hard Boiled and Hardy Raider trophies haha. I did miss the Deadline trophy though. No idea how because I died to everything you could even both genders of lions, and water deaths from enemies that could(Larson, Rats, and Crocodiles). Maybe because I bounced around levels to get the ones I missed? Who knows. I’ll do it on NG+ and keep a list I guess lol. As for the missing item I knew what it was and why it was impossible(was in the original too, Uzi clip in the spine bridge room). It’s been since fox where the clips near the switch gives three instead of two. While I was waiting for the patch I started Unfinished Business. Got the Tomb Cleaner trophy post patch and went to finish UB…….unfortunately the patch caused another item related trophy(possibly two) to bug out now f*** lol

Yeah, I learned that you can get those trophies with the level skip cheat afterwards 😂 I can't believe those trophies work with cheat codes! Ugh, yeah, who knows? The trophies seemed to be so randomly glitching out before the patch. I think they are a bit more reliable now, except for the PS5 versions weirdly enough, which apparently are buggier than their PS4 counterparts? Yeah, I'm also impatiently waiting for the Gifts of Wonderland trophy to finally be patched. It's really annoying 😅

Hope you do this for every game!

Great as always, though it was very bold of you to go for the 5 hour trophy on NG+ with pistols only! I got lucky that Clever Girl worked first time for me. Are you planning on doing equivalent videos for 2 and 3? Possibly even the expansions? Looking forward to them if that's the case!

Unfortunetly lots of trophies don't pop out on my ps4... the game has some glitches regarding the achievements...😢 but hey, I was Wondering... why didn't you consider multiple save files? For instance, you could do the wolf part without going on your no medipack run... I mean, you handicaped yourself in a way that makes the game much more challenging. Buy yeah, nice runs😊

Thank you so much, I really appreciate it! 🥰 Yeah, I was really hit hard with bugged trophies in the first game, but thankfully the second game was smooth sailing... in terms of trophies unlocking how they were supposed to at least. It was very difficult. Haha, yeah, I know, but I was very stubborn about getting my footage for my video here as "dramatic" as possible, plus, I wasn't sure if the game would register Medi Packs usage on a "playthrough", in spite of loading games in-between. It's always a little uncertain how trophies track in-game actions 😫

Very good Job :) It was fun to watch and Play on my own :) Sadly all Pickups Achivement in Unfinished bussines is bugged too :( I play on PC. So have to wayt for another Patch

16:00 that medipack is obtainable! It's a TIMED door! You step on a pressure pad somewhere around there and maybe even another ... and have to run and jump your butt off to get in there. Once you get it, the door opens and lets you back out

What, really!? Don't you mean the level secret in the room before it, because it sounds like that one. That's a timed door that's opened by stepping on a well-hidden floor tile.

I, too, learned the hard way that you can't get the 5 hour completion trophy on New Game +. I really wish that there was something somewhere that would have told you that... Thankfully, I did save the no medipacks trophy for that, not realizing I couldn't use them anyways. At least that one worked out for me - since touching the save crystals didn't count. Also, there were a few trophies that I couldn't figure out what they meant, so I'm grateful for this video. Some of those descriptions are very unclear. That trick to get all of the item pickups is brilliant. I need to try that...

Yeah, it REALLY sucks... and I absolutely hate... when us gamers do some insane challenge legitimately, only for a bug to ruin our hard work. The pick duplication trick isn't necessary any longer thankfully, but it certainly was a very welcome little cheat pre-patch, haha!

what a journey. I wanted to do the same and I say to myself ... Nah, just enjoy the game and maybe later I'll do 4 or 5 playthroughs to get all the trophies. since I love TR3. I am trying so hard to get TR3 platinum first before the other 2 games.

I’m getting around 80% on the first playthrough of the games, but damn, the thought of playing through again for those last few is making me break out in a cold sweat . . . 😰

You can do it! It requires a lot of patience (and luck at times), but it's definitely not unreasonably difficult like some trophies in other games are 😎

Auch, that sounds rough & painful! I was unlucky for having no time to play TR Remastered in February but only in March after the first patch was already released... but that came with the benefit of the _Tomb Cleaner_ achievement being fixed. I must say that my 'journey' to get all achievements for TR1 was really smooth, better than I had expected beforehand (when I first read the achievement list - for example, I dreaded NewGame+ but that turned out to be way less difficult than I thought). It was fun to track the achievements and gradually work my way through the levels (although I had some difficulties in the beginning, i.e. with the achievement where you had to gather 11 wolves in front of the Toltec warriors, and the one where all bears had to stand on their hind legs). I did 3 playthroughs: 1. All Secrets/Pickups/Kills, No Meds, Pistols Only, getting as many 'regular' achievements as possible, and with unlimited saving; 2. Speedrun & save less than 86 times; 3. NewGame+ Now I am in TR2; in Barkhang Monastery to be precise😎

I know right? 😃 It has been so much fun to earn all these achievements/trophies, because it's such a new way to play these classic Tomb Raider games, that we know so well. Yeah, I undoubtedly made New Game+ stupidly hard by only using pistols in that mode, because it's probably not THAT bad 😅 The way you did it sounds way more sensible than what I did, for sure. That's awesome, I just finished Tomb Raider II recently myself. Enjoy your playthrough MdB, it's always nice hearing from you!

@@AxMania This is what you get if you're a achievement hunter/completionist😂 although I would not want to have it any other way because I know the levels (in terms of exact layout and secrets/pickups/kills) a lot better now than before💪 I am a fan of these games and watch playthroughs and speedruns all the time but it has been a while since I've actually played them myselves (I mostly did TRLEs the past years), so this release was the perfect opportunity to (re)discover every nook and cranny👀 it turned out I had forgotten so many things lol I just completed the game btw🥳 Now it's time for the Speedrun and then NewGame+🥰 I'm curious how easy or difficult this will be, especially TR2's NG+. How was your playthrough of TR2? Temple of Xian was quite difficult for me, how did it go for you? Have a good day and yes, it's always a pleasure talking with you too!🥰

This was a good challenge! I will surely play these games eventually because they seem fun and I played the one with the butler in the freezer on PS1 when I was a child and I remember it being creepy and cool and I really don't know much about the original TR trilogy. Loved the reboots though. Also if you think that bugged trophy is annoying let me tell you about a bug that is still in Skyrim that prevented me from getting the platinum twice (in 2013 and a couple of years ago but then I played the game again for the 2000th time just to get that 1 trophy GOD DAMN IT) that happens if you break in Honningbrew meadery before unlocking the thief's guild quest which requires to do so later in the game. Basically doing that bugs the npc in the guild that gives you that quest and he won't trigger the dialogue you need meaning you can't continue the guild questline meaning no thief guild trophy meaning no plat. Insane.

My first ever was beating TR1 without a medi-pack is basically my Platinum Trophy. I remember watching Bassassgamez's playthrough and now experiencing it myself was a total pain but worth it

@@AxManiaMy worse experience of the no medical run was “The great Pyramid” level where I was down to one fireball hit halfway through the level. The last Egypt level was the same thing as I killed Larson.

Still waiting for the Tomb Cleaner trophy as of this time. Got all the others and don't really care about plat trophies. For myself personally as long as I can beat the challenge set by the trophy then it's all good!

Thank you so much, but it's taking me longer to finish because April has been very busy 😩 What's worse though is that the recent patch changed a lot of things graphically, and since I still have to go back and capture a lot of b-roll, my footage is all over the place now! 😫 So I'm spending lots of time trying to mask these changes as well as I can, but it's difficult 😞 I hope it will be out before May at least 😅

I'd definitely recommend speedrunning methods for NG+. I just beat TR2, and I can't imagine playing through Opera House, Barkhang Monstery, and Temple of Xian without level skips on NG+ (They're not hard to pull off either). Also, for the Dances with Wolves trophy, you can use medpacks and get the trophy, then reload the save before you used medpacks, and you won't void the Hardy Raider trophy.

Oh yeah, I did Tomb Raider II on New Game+ the other day, and I did indeed use some shortcuts. Yeah, but I wasn't sure if it would void the trophies, because sometimes reloading a save doesn't work, and I didn't want to take any cances 😕 It's not always clear how trophies are tracked.
