Yvonne Hemlick, whether "his soul was right with God" or not is not my business and not my concern. As someone who loved his music and think he is a legend, I was recognizing the mark he made. Nothing more, nothing less. He was an awesome musician!

Awesome part, Awesome movie. Did not get the credit it deserved. This is really one movie that could be used in a leadership class. The Postman was the reluctant leader.

I did and tbh found Tom Petty was the only great thing in it. The other 2 hours and 55 minutes or so of it absolutly blew but Petty didn't in his screentime. He made a otherwise terrible film watchable (for his role of cource) despite his great but very small acting role as the City Official. He was great as the voice actor of Lucky in "King Of The Hill" as well.

The absolute humility of Petty. This cameo was golden, because it communicates something we miss. Imagine the world you know ends on a timescale of decades. It doesn't take long for the memories of our collective memory to chamge. Petty is supposed to be a good example of someone who is adaptive to his environment, not reliant on his fame in a world that doesn't exist anymore.
