The wishmaster djinn could have been a legitimate horror icon like pinhead,Jason or Freddy if they hadn't switched the actor after part two. Andrew Divoff was great as the djinn.

That’s weird. That is Robert Lasardo the little Mexican dude (he is actually Italian) and I was working with him in Las Vegas on this Sci fi movie. I was at Caesars Palace and I saw Deebo Tiny Lister in line with me at the concierge. A week later Deebo died from Covid. I wish I had known Lasardo worked on Wishmaster 2 I would have told him about DEEBO

The pacing of the feet rotating was perfect. Just as you're wondering to yourself, "How could this work?" It still doesn't make any sense, but it sells the concept effectively and by that point you are laughing to much to think about it

First one was pretty creepy, just from the start you were just catapulted in a Jerome Bosch's Inferno painting. This one maintains the creepiness but just like for the Chucky sequels, they placed slight touches of dark humour.

He has such a great voice, the perfect actor for a character like the Djinn
Andrew Divoff really made this character entertaining!!
Him doing that smile and saying, "Be careful what you wish for," pops into my head at random.
Careful what you wish for. The first two Wishmaster movies were great.
Finally the words come true. Be waiting my whole life to see how this would look. Sopranos always said it but never did I see it.
Andrew Divoff nailed it in this role 🙂

It is a comedy, well partially anyway. It's called dark humor. Many horror movies have this but viewers somehow miss it. I'm always laughing during horror movies as I catch the humor as some people look at me like I'm nuts. 🤣. Good B Horror Movies Rules !

I don't think I've ever seen a movie where the minor characters and extras are much better actors than the star of the film.
One of my all time favorite horror series and villains extremely underrated though, they should definitely give this movie a new life

If he's in prison, it means he's been convicted and sentenced. There are no "charges" to drop as there are no outstanding charges against him (unless we're talking about _additional_ pending charges unrelated to his present incarceration). He'd need a whole retrial, and I doubt they'll get one because of a "potentially damaging procedural screw-up." That ship has sailed.

Depending on the screwup. The court of appeals takes screwups very seriously if you can prove it. And depending on evidence and the nature of the screwup it can lead to a retrial or even a downright acquittal

It would just mean he wouldn't get additional time. He'd still need to finish the current sentence for the first conviction, sweetcheeks!

I got wrongfully convicted of receiving stolen property 12 years ago. The Appellate court overturned the conviction and the state had to drop all charges. That's how acquittals work.

there are no such things as djinn . there is however people that do cast magic. but they do NOT like being called witches. they like to be called wiccans. so you are not a real witch period. if you were real. youd have said this instead "coming from a wiccan who works with Djinn" which by the way no wiccan or at least good wiccan would ever work with the likes of anything like djinns
