I met Tom many years ago on Brasenose 1, he was smashing it carp after carp. I went over had a chat about his tactics and he took time to show me the rigs and how to tie up a small solid bag for a long chuck. Nothing but respect for ya, the green eyed monster is a very real and unfortunately it shows who has your back and whom is willing to stab you in it. More power to you for not rising to them, the cream always floats to the top Tom never forget that buddy

There's a little over 1.1g of isoleucine per 100g of worm, there's 10.08g of isoleucine in a mussel. Mussels are also a really really good bait for carp fishing. It's the natural amino acids they're after.

Go on Tom! He's so right about the hours/effort/practice you need to put in in order to become an expert/world class in any area. Carp fishing is no different. FWIW I've never met Tom, but I've fished with Andy (his dad) on a couple of occasions and I know how proud of his son he is, and rightly so. Ultimately in life, I think that's about all that matters - having a loving family around you, supporting them and making them proud. So keep doing what you're doing, Tom: being the best dad, employee and angler you can be. The rest is largely immaterial.

Outstanding podcast Korda , Tom is an outstanding angler who is a perfectionist through shear graft and effort day in day out. Yes it will cause jealousy through anglers who don't , won't spend their life perfecting and improving their natural talent , no different in any sport , the more you put in the more you get out. Exactly right too Tom you didn't but if you did have a cheating edge they wanted it to use not because they were interested in what's morally right/wrong. Thanks for making/agreeing to this podcast Tom / Korda as it's set a record straight I never doubted but a lot did , so glad your family pulled you through it . Huge respect fella 👊 . Steve M

Without a doubt, it's the best podcast so far. Massive thumbs up for talking about those absolute idiots that believed or thought mind-boggling things. I look forward to watching many more videos with Tom in korda colours. Keep doing what you do best, and entertaining and helping other anglers get the best from there time on the bank.

Amazing podcast, definitely need Tom again in soon for another one. Perhaps with Dovey too? Would love to see how their theories and angling differ and listen to them debate over some popular angling related topics and carp fishing FAQs

Great podcast mate, you came across very well 👌🏼. There’s always people out there who will try to put down successful people, it’s all boils down to jealousy. Keep doing your thing 💪🏻🐋

The green eyed monster is very real. About 20 years ago, I was catching carp regularly and on all the waters I visited. I had adopted the “Linear Way” or the “Horeshoe Way” of casting two, or even three rods on the spot, spodding and baiting accurately, whereby any angler that became proficient with this method would bag up. Over the course of the next two, or three years, I got absolutely hammered by mates of mine, some of whom I’ve known since we were kids. The ill feeling became even worse when it was known that I had been taken on as a field tester for one of the biggest tackle and bait companies in Europe. As a result of this jealousy, I fell out of love with carp fishing and I just packed it in about 10 years ago. I did another session just before the pandemic and enjoyed it. But I haven’t bothered since. I literally lost, so called good friends of mine, because I caught more fish than them. Credit to Tom for keeping going with his career and to not let toxic people affect him too much

Brilliant podcast Tom a minority of people just can not help them selves at being negative. It boils down to them being insecure and jealous .I love your videos on KZread and follow you on Facebook you are an inspiration to all carp anglers. I have experienced what you have been through being wrongly accused of breaking rules it’s not a nice experience. Some minority of carp fishing will always be present just keep doing what we all love and ignore the negativity comments..All the best at Korda I’m sure you are enjoying your new surroundings. All the best buddy and tight lines.

I’ve been following Tom since I started fishing … he is the reason why I use Krill after struggling to find a solid bait, this worm game sounds interesting. What a lad … I can’t stress how much this guy has given to get where he is and I have only been fishing for 5 years, great inspiration. Good things are happening to him because of the effort he has given … I’m just saying
