Tom was right to release this now and not closer to our November elections. YT will be cracking down even harder the further into the year we get. WOW! I am not much into rap and have never heard of this guy, but as a political junkie (in the US), this is SPOT on as to how each side on the political spectrum sees one another. While I do deeply admire and agree with the overall message that things have devolved into hatred (and the people who deliberately stoke that are the real villains), there are very strong, foundational principles as well on each side that are fundamentally incompatible. I still think its an important and well delivered message!

The work that needs to be done in this country: ending homelessness, cleaning up our water and air, creating more and better paying jobs, creating an infrastructure for ZEV vehicles, greening the economy and providing equal opportunity both in education and in employment is not going to get done without a lot cooperation and determination. There those that prefer things as is because they are the ones benefiting from the status quo. They want Congress so gridlocked that the government fails altogether. They would love an. oligarchy instead of a Republic. They are the they Tom refers to in the song. We have to stop letting them distract us from the work that needs doing. We have no choice anymore. We have to come together or that’s a rap on the human race.
