I just introduced my 12 year old grandson to Tom. After his rabbit hole we went over all the diss tracks. He couldn't sit through Mac Lethal's last one. He said it sounds like he is mad that he don't have Nova and the beat is trash. Even a kid can hear that Mac Lethal sucks.

I am convinced Mac Lethal doesn't have fans - what happens is Tom has haters who pretend to be the fans of anyone who comes after Tom. I also think at least half of those are paid bot farms from people in the record industry. The rest are just Eminem Stans (not fans, stans) who are asshurt that Tom now does the Slim Shady schtick better than Em does, even if Em is still the more technically gifted rapper.

Spot on and a lot of the same people that now say Mac is amazing with a respected battle rap history just 3 months ago said Upchurch is no Mac Lethal/Mac Lethal is garbage. Doesn’t even have to be the Cesspool track if Tom (who I also like btw) fans will get too upset by that one. Samson’s latest track ‘Million Dollar Baby remix’ is also a banger as are any of his catalogue really. The one thing I will say is any rapper who gets into beef with Samson is a brave man hence why I don’t think we’ll see Tom or any of the political rappers he took a little swipe at respond.

Sure, some REACTORS thought it was a shot at Tom and I'll grant I've never heard Samson say anything, positive or negative, about Tom but Flawd, who talks to Samson some, said there is no bad blood between the two. PLUS there are a bunch of other artists the bars could (and likely are) aimed at. I will say Cesspool isn't my favorite Samson but, it's not bad.

I don’t generally disagree with you, but I do think that you were a bit rough on the Mac diss because you are a big Tom fan.
