I'm 63 and started watching Tom's films in the 80's. I've loved him ever since then, what a lovely man and great actor. I love it when he comes to the UK to do chat shows, he's much loved here. I don't know if anyone else noticed, but in the 80's he had a sort of thing where he incorporated a kitchen whisk in his movies. I think it may have begun in "Batchelor Party"? He chased a woman with a whisk, and it cropped up in a few more of his films too - my sisters and I noticed it and thought it was hilarious. No-one else noticed!!!

I loved that movie, and remember that scene with the Whisk... I t was at the end after they married, right? I think he even said " It's ok we're married now".... (He might have said it's legal now).. LMAO!

My favorite is his impression of the studio executives when he was doing the voice work for Toy Story. That was epic!! LOL

I love how he looks completely different in almost every clip but the voice is instantly recognizable!

I'm not a great fan of the american movie industry, but still need to recognize that Tom Hanks is one the greatest actors of all times, and movies like Forrest Gump, Philadelphia, or Saving Private Ryan are on my top 10 all time favorite movies list. All the talents he displays here in this video and generally beyond his famous roles make him even more adorable.

This man..! About as close to perfection of mankind you can get, in every way❤

The fact that he went with the young Forrest Gump’s voice qualities is a testament to his kindness and professionalism. He know the boy was not a professional actor, so he felt it would be easier for him (Tom) to mimic the boy rather than the other way around.

I have been a huge fan of Tom Hanks, and his wife, Rita Wilson, for more years than I want to count. He deserves even more acclaim and recognition than he gets. He is truly a man of the people. On a different note but in the same vein, I wish his son's series, Life in Pieces, was still on - great cast, great writing. Tom is a genius that should get the life-time acting award!

I admire him so so much! He has it all; looks, brains, wit and a lasting marriage!!

I am very ill and in pain unless I'm asleep. For the duration of this video I was almost completely unaware of the pain because I was laughing and crying at the time . There are things in life that do this to most everyone at some point . I just wish there were more of them I guess I could have summed it up and typed laughter is the best medicine.

It’s funny, you know, because you don’t think of Tom Hanks as animpersonator, but he truly is a wonderful one. I saw him do Ron Howard several times in this clip and also on another show and when he imitates Ron Howard, underwater, doing a scene for the movie Splash it totally cracks me up!

These were all fantastic! He's such a good actor!

I think he is a decent, sincere and caring human being. Cannot say that for the majority of his peers in the industry.

And the reason Clint never shouts "ACTION!!!" at the top of his lungs when he directs is that he does it the style they did in the western movies in his early career; had someone shouted out "ACTION" all the horses would panic away in various directions. Doing things softly calms both horses and people.

Mr Hanks’ observational skills must be through the roof, being able to so accurately portray so many people’s expressions, accents, etc.

Just one of the good guys in Hollywood, an absolutely fantastic actor. And the thing is you generally never hear a word badly spoken about him or his private life, unlike the majority in the industry. That's the way it should be, tabloids and the paparazzi have no place to intfere in one's personal and private life.
