Tom Collin easy refreshing drink to make at home. Simple and refreshing this classic cocktail is a must try.
For some odd reason a few bartender are adding grenadine to this cocktail. Not to improve it but just because they don’t know how to make it. Well no you will.
Tom collins
2oz gin
3/4oz simple syrup
1oz lemon juice
Top off with soda water
Not pink, no grenadine

best on hot summer and easy to modify
My grandparents always served these when they had company. I think I just found my beverage for this year’s food feast holiday.

A buddy and I joke and call this a forbidden cocktail. We've only had it made correctly ONCE at a bar. "Favorite" mix was vodka, rose's lime cordial, and soda. How you give me a gimlet & soda but wrong?

I have to borrow that “forbidden cocktail” 🤣. Zero Fs we’re given when they made you that vodka gimlet and soda for a Tom collins😅
