Japan and Korea offer great cycling routes and the video shows the first part of a journey between Tokyo in Japan and Seoul in South Korea. The cycling was concentrated around the Seto Inland Sea area, Setouchi including the well-known Shamanami Kaido Route that goes across the Seto Sea, to Matsuyama, Hiroshima and then on to Fukuoka at the Korea strait. The video ends at the ferry to Busan in South Korea where the next video starts, • Tokyo-Seoul, part 2: B... . The trip was made with light packing during three weeks in late September to early October when the weather was mainly sunny and dry with daytime temperatures ranging from 18-30C.
