Hedeby, a Viking Age metropolis

Hedeby was one of the most important towns in the Viking Age, strategically located on the southern fringe of Scandinavia. Merchants from far and wide met in Hedeby and trade flourished. Hedeby was abandoned in the eleventh century, but today there are reconstructions of some of the houses and a museum at the site. Trade towns such as Hedeby play an important role in my book Vikingaprinsessan (The Viking Princess) so follow me and visit the reconstruction and the museum.
You can find more information on the museum at haithabu.de/en/homepage and my book at stading.se/en/books.
