My father jumped on D-day. I buried him in Arlington in 2002. I still stand for our anthem. I salute the flag. I love America... no matter where travel has taken me, I still feel pride when the wheels touch down. And every-time a customs officer looks at my passport and says: "Welcome Home." Yes. Home. My dad was in the Air Force in the 60’s and my mom’s dad was a high ranking officer through out her childhood!! I was taught to respect, love, and defend our country!! I have three kids, two Millennials and a GenZ, I raised them to respect our country, flag, military, vets, freedom, and independence! Exactly what happened to me. I had a small flag waving from the back of my MC. It flew proudly as I rode my bike. I parked it outside a mall parking lot a week ago. I came out and someone had ripped it off and left it on the ground near my bike. Two hours later, my bike had a new, BIG flag waving behind it and I took the smaller one into my home where the little Lady sits proudly on the mantle in my living room. A hater will have to get through barrage of bullets to get to her, again. She will never be hurt again. At least not while I still have a trigger finger.
