Both my husband and I served our Country many years ago. Thank You for all of who are listening here who are or have served.

My dad served in the army for 25 years deployed twice during the Iraq war. He’s now retired and I’m very proud to be part of the military family.

My brother died a year ago Aug 1st... He fought in Vietnam. 82nd Airborne. So proud of him. So proud of my husband, my other brother and his brother. ALL served with honor.

He served 4 years in the Air Force. He came home for 6 months and then joined the Marines.

My son is in basic training now. Proud of him don't even touch what I feel for his decision. Every day in my house is Veterans Day. Without them none of us have the life we have. Never ever walk by a Veteran without saying thank you.

My Dad was in the Military he was in the USAF and my papa was in the army. they both are veterans now and have a close relationship with God. If a cure comes for my disability i’m leaving to join the Military and fight for our freedom but if I can’t then I’m going to become a preacher! God is good.

@@JblazeToD I don’t think you realize how the military works my friend. Even though my dad was an Air Force he served for seven years he served multiple deployment. Yeah he gets picked on because he was in the Air Force but it’s no different from being in the Marines or the army or the Coast Guard. Those jobs are still very tough. it doesn’t matter what branch you are in you’re still serving and helping out this world… Sure they may sit around but when you need air support they’re the ones to be there in two seconds.

Most of the men in my family served. Army, US Coast Guard, Navy, and USAF. My fathervwas wounded in Korea. He had shrapnel in his leg just below the knee. After 70 years, he had his leg amputated from above the knee. He had osteomyelitis. Since the amputation he is healthier today than he has been over the years. Those who served I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your service. Welcome home.

December 2019, I delivered wreaths to 3 cemeteries of Fallen soldiers and veterans in Louisiana. Being able to lay the first wreath over that headstone, really hit home. Knowing that they gave their life for our freedom. And knowing they gave their life for us to live our lives the way we live and work the jobs we choose. As an over the road truck driver I thank these brave men and women for their sacrifice and service. To the ones who are over seas, come home safe please.

My grandpa was deployed to the front lines during the Vietnam war. My my uncle was deployed during Operation Desert Storm. And the war on terror. He was on the front lines during the invasion of Iraq.

Yes thank you to all the men and women serving our country now and in the past. I have family who are serving in the military now and also almost about to get out. God bless all the soldiers who are serving and have served our country.

I can’t look at a flag and not think about the men and women who fought for it and those who died for it. We are so blessed to live in this country. Thank you for this song.

My Dad served in the Army for 22 years. He died in 2009. Even being an Army brat, this song touched my heart and made me cry, too. Military Wives are amazing women! You are strong, brave, loving and fierce. I wouldn't cross my Mom or any of the! Sometimes I think you are stronger than the Soldiers. God bless! 🇺🇲

He was special forces and a man that did certain things. Today is my birthday and the first time that I haven’t heard his voice on Memorial Day. One of my great great Grandad's passed away when I was about five months old but I later found out that he was a Navy Seal. I also later found out that one of my great grandad's served in the army but sadly he passed away when I was about three years old. Thank you to all you veterans and to those currently in service. You help keep our country safe and keep our freedom. Thank you so much, you all deserve more appreciation than you often get. And thank you to all those who can’t read this comment, to those that gave their lives for this country.

Still serving as a member of our Color Guard at VFW Post 9808. Folding a casket flag as a final respect on military honors for a family of a veteran, this song has a special meeting. Well done sir.

my mother told me that my Great Grandfather passed away just recently and honest to truth I have an attachment to him through singing and he fought in WW2 and Korean war his name was Ron DePass and he is a very much a US Navy.

I have grandpa who served in the Vietnam war and he’s still alive to this day but what I can say to support all of our soldiers who fought and died for our country and there a reason why I’ll always support our soldiers who died for our country.

My fiancé is going into the United States Marines. Thank you for all the Marines, Army, Navy, Coast Guard, Paratroopers, ALL Special Forces. Thank you for protecting this country.

Mr Davis that is a beautiful song. I remember as a child every morning and school we would recite the pledge of allegiance with their hand over our heart. Today children are no longer allowed to recite the pledge of allegiance and that's a very sad thing. This country is hurting and bleeding hoping that someone will fix its wounds so our flag can play proud.

It's more than a flag and those that sacraficed thier lives are more than heroes. Without everyone of them we would not have the country and freedoms we have.. Those freedoms and those sacrifices can never be taken away as long as there are men and women prepared to give their life to defend them. God bless all who have served.. "All gave some, and Some.... Gave all"

As an active duty member man this brings all of us to tears for those who truly understand what those men and women have sacrificed in life!
