One of my favorite moments from season 5 is in ep 10 - when Mark "fakes" the Scottish accent as an Irishman. I laugh every time for some reason

This show is STILL on my mind weeks after finishing it all. Finan's humor is one of the biggest gems in an absolutely phenomenal series. The friendship, the deep appreciation for people not of the same religion ... just gorgeous to watch, hear and reflect on. I would adore 20 more seasons with all these wonderful actors - with all the dearly departed back!

i love how he says Lord (in reference to Uthred) is SO casual for him

Great interview. Mark brought so much to TLK that made it the best show ever, along with Alex, Arnas and the rest of the cast. His humor and wisecracks were so funny, you couldn't wait to hear the next. Loved his character and in real life he seems to be a really nice guy.

This made my day to see Mark’s interview pop up! TLK has so many awesome characters, but like many people, Finan was my favorite of the whole show! Mark did such a great job playing him, he’s such a talented actor and just seems like the most genuine, nice guy. I was really disappointed they didn’t bring Finan’s back story into the series, because it is one hell of a story and Mark would have blown that out of the water. It doesn’t sound like it’s happening in the movie either, BOO! Maybe they’ll surprise us with another movie featuring it, LOL, a TLK fan’s dream! Thanks guys for the interview, another great one!

How come neither Steve or Corby asked Mark about Osferth's death scene...Mark did an amazing emotional scene when he placed Osferth's body on the ground and then sit aside and cried like a baby...blaming himself for all the deaths. That was a great scene.

And not just Finnan in that scene but Osferth as well, he was fantastic because he really made you feel his panic and fear at the thought of dying.

I agree with Lila but you have to admit that Mark is a brilliant actor and deserves much more screen time in other shows

The show ended perfectly!!! Absolutely perfect! But yeah, there are more books.....so we get a movie. Truly hope and expect it to be awesome! You did the books justice in your own way! Bernard Cornwell is a phenomenal writer, I loved seeing his books come alive on the screen. 👍

i laughed, cried and bled with the show lol just kidding! I laughed and cried and I couldn't face some episodes cause I didn't lose anyone but I had to keep going and watch them all. Love the show!!

It's interesting how Mark mentions that maybe things didn't work out with Edith because she wanted more for her life, and more control of her life, and that's also what Brida wanted. She says it in season 1 that she doesn't want to end up a Saxon woman. It's just an interesting point.

I hate to be shallow but … I’ll say it this way: it is exceedingly difficult to look at or think of any thing else when this actor is in the shot/scene. 😅 Mark’s acting is fantastic yes, but that little something extra doesn’t hurt. He is positively magnetic.

It isn’t shallow necessarily to find an actor magnetic, a scene stealer’!! It’s about more than looks, as pretty much every single person on the show is crazy attractive :). Charisma is a talent too!!

This show is a guilty pleasure for sure. LOVE IT but.... I can sum up 90% of the episodes like this. Someone gets.. A kidnapped B killed C Castle is taken Then everyone says... A Wait for reinforcements B Negotiate C Give up And of course UTRID will say " we need to attack now! take them by surprise!" and Utrid does and saves the day.
