The character stuff is the best part of this episode.

This is fantastic! I love it a second Star Trek Channel now. I'm so excited your starting with The Next Generation first. One of the best along with the original, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, Picard and Strange New Worlds. It's really hard to pick and #1 favorite. But if I have too. Then it's the classic Original series. Nothing beats that. Yes there's another Star Trek KZread channel. It's called Trekculture. It has almost 300k subscribers. And it's a great one. Check it out. But there not covering every single episode like your doing. They are just covering highlight episodes of each series. And the new stuff and Star Trek news.

I guess you could argue that Strange New Worlds had a pretty good pilot too.

You have to remember this was a pilot episode. There not always that good. I think to me the best Pilot episode would've been Voyager.
