I'm a bass player and I can't play a walking bass line with just one string! I mean, there's the washtub basses, but those are for simple bluegrass and country, not rock.

Hey, it *could* work for simple bass lines. Obviously you're not playing "John the Fisherman" on it, but it could work for _some_ Ramones songs. Besides that, the band Morphine started out with a 1 string bass; they switched to a 2 string. The difference here is, they played it with a slide (rare,) so it's not a typical approach to a Bass Guitar. Oh, and their bassist Mark Sandman influenced Chris Ballew from The Presidents to also play a 2 String Bass. Tl, dr; it can work for simple bass lines, but you won't play "John the Fisherman" or "Jerry Was A Racecar Driver" on it.

You do however have all the required notes. If you're playing anything in a basic chord structure, it would be fine. However, riffs could be a bit of a challenge.

I'm a bass player who plays rock and country and I can't play walking bass lines on one string especially if the song changes keys. That would take years to master! The only one string bass that will work is a washtub bass, but they're mostly used for bluegrass.

And my then-nine year old self thought they’d be touring and they’d come to Savannah....but it turns out it was just this Radio City Music Hall performance and then the album and the VHS tape of the “concert” were released.

This 90s Turtle stuff might be hard to watch, but just imagine being cast as a turtle in this thing. You run off to the big city, telling your parents "You'll regret disowning me. I'll be famous! I'll be on Broadway!" and a few months later you're so desperate you'll be in a TMNT music show. I don't really know why, but I love the intro. That candid photo in from of an explosion and the Alf music is perfect.

Oh, the music ain't that bad for the intended audience. I would have loved it as a kid.

NC (vo): But thank Gosh, April is there to sing a motivational song to get the turtles' morale going again. (Beat) And then the credits roll. The Nerd (vo): What? NC (vo): Yeah, it doesn't even end! It just sort of...stops. Like the editor said, "Forget this stuff! I'm done!" and then ran off the project. The Nerd (vo): Well, good, at least that means the video's over and we don't have to listen to any more music, right? (The video continues to play) The Nerd (vo): Right...? ...The heck, dude?! They just rolled the credits! What the heck else is there to show?! Turtles: (sing) 🎵But we need your help tonight.🎵 NC (vo): Oh, my Gosh, IT'S NEVER GOING TO END!!! Turtles: (sing) 🎵We're the turtles! You can count on us!🎵 The Nerd (vo): You can count on us? Oh, you sure can! You can count on us to be totally FRICKING OBNOXIOUS!! Meow Yes. I LOVE the music in the show! Though, I fear if a "Coming Out of Our Gems" Tour came into fruition, the music and songs would have a massive downgrade in quality compared to the original show.
