I generally play very friendly and prosocial empires, and I'm usually the one who introduces the Tiyanki Conservation act, so I observe. But I just started a determined exterminator empire and Imma finally see what happens when you start cutting into it (No spoilers please).

Love this event. Reminds me of an amalgam of beached whales, elephant graveyards and jellyfish polyp, but with the typical space mistery typical from stellaris.

The tyranids or the scourge would have loved to discover this.

…. Well. I would camp a fleet in the system and set a science ship to figure it out, and I would put a few fleets within quick jump range incase it’s like the space dragon hatching.

Couldn’t the tiyanki just feed on interstellar particle clouds, carbonaceous asteroids, and gas giants? You get your rarer metals from clouds, carbon and others from the roids, and ammonia, hydrogen, oxygen and every other necessary gas from the giants. I think that’s what their giant sail-head is for

It might be "easy" but imagine a single being crisis. One of these so massive and maybe crazed because if it even has a mind it consists of billions of them fighting for dominance. So it goes system to system wandering. You either have to kill it, or find this "gravemind" and kill it releasing control of the leviathan. Granted this is a rough 5 minute idea with little thought out into it

Love it, great idea! The leviathans are fantastic but a super powerful one which roams in systems and consumes worlds is what we need!

friendly tip: focus on cpu upgrade and motherboard(don't skimp on motherboard, any gpu will suffice), 5800x3d is the second best cpu for these type of games.

I'm still trying to find what mod I have that is preventing this system from spawning, thus breaking the mid game crisis from working.

Hmm... I've never had this encounter in game, but I suppose I'd wait and observe?

It was added with the Toxoids update (3.5), but I don't *think* its part of the DLC. I'm pretty sure its just a 3.5 thing... Maybe someone else reading this can answer?

@@TheRedKing indeed the dead space trilogy is really good although some might say dead space 3 is the bad apple of the franchise, take note thhat the ''Brethen moon'' OP mentioned only appears on a story dlc of dead space 3 you might as well take opportunity that a remake of the original Dead sapce game is coming out as a nice introduction to the trilogy.
