OK, Beretta STILL makes the Cheetah line, they rarely ever get imported into the states as NEW. However, you can still find them in batches on the SURPLUS circuit! They range in price from $400 and up. Now, Beretta has recently introduced the 80-X, which is a revisited 84 that has some modernized touches added to it. And a fairly hefty price tag, MSRP $800. If I didn't already have an 84 & 85, I would definately obtain the Fatih, esp. since it's MSRP is $400. Here is the answer to your snappiness... Blow Back Operation = Snappy Operation! After 500 or so rounds, it will be less so, but it really never goes away. Range Day for me, I can do almost 2 boxes before the hand starts to let me know that its still a bank vault with some snappiness to it! I'm glad you enjoy the weapon, keep pumping rounds through it, it will get better!

The Beretta Model 84 or Cheetah in .380 is for my money one of the finest handguns ever made. Ergonomics, reliability, accuracy, durability ( even esthetics)…all top notch. Makes a great carry gun especially for certain urban environments where more powerful calibers might be a liability.

I own a beretta chettah 84 and a tisas fatih, the tisas is the stronger of the two guns better metallurgy and stronger springs, it also shoots tighter groups when bench rested.

I have a tisas fatih 380 as well and at the beginning I could definitely feel it in the web of my hand like he said in video.. but the good news is the more rounds I shot the less I felt it in the web of my hand..

Tisas now sells the Fatih with upgraded wood grips. The plastic grips on the 1st model absolutely peel the skin off my right knuckle. Contact Tisas to pursuade them to sell the new grips.

I found the wood grips on ebay. That solved everything, and they really make the gun look classy

Beretta made them with two different trigger guards. Early ones had round ones. Layer pistols had the forefinger rest. This one has a cross. Will probably not fit holsters made for the earlier round guards, but looks like it may fit the later holsters

Fixed barrel blow back. Locked breech will always be better. S&W sheild ez 380 is great and smooth recoil. The Browning 1911 380 is nice and easy recoiling as well( I rent one at the range, but won't buy one because the one I want is like $850.00) they just won't come down in price.

Depending on your budget/tastes... leather holsters: Craft Holsters OR Pusat Holsters, both have great quality, looks and feel. Pusat is less expensive.

They actually have a new model in 380 that just came out it debuted at the gun show I believe at the beginning of this month and all of the reviewers are waiting to get that gun in their hands to see if it lives up to Beretta's reputation

It may be snappy due to the barrel sitting higher than the S&W BG or a heavier slide. I also have a S&W BG and it is a bit snappy also. Either way, nice pistol! One may be in my inventorying the near future. Thanks!

Nice, I love the beretta falling lock pistols!( although this may be a blowback i don't much about the 380s) 🔥 If tisas would ever dove tail the front sights, I would definitely try them🤘

The 2nd gen has dove tailed sights, also the pistol grip and trigger guard shape like the beretta version. Reportedly it will take M92 sights

@terrydawson2239 Thanks for the info, bro! 🙏 I will keep my eyes open for one of the gen 2s to check out. Tisas has been coming out with so much cool stuff lately, cool guns, cool colors, and nice g10 options. They are killing it for the price point of their products.

I had one of these as well as the Beretta. Not the same. VERY close but thing like grips are not interchangeable. Maybe that has changed. Slide release on mine was almost impossible to use. Other than that is seems to be a great gun. Just did not have the same feel as my Berettas. Also, considering the age of the design, I question it is a licensed copy. Tisas make copies of many older designs. All seem to be of good quality

I also found if to be more snappy than the 84. You are not alone in that. The new Beretta 80x looks nice but cost $$$$$$$. Good options would be maybe the Ruger Security 380 or the Grand Power CP380.

I was wondering if anyone was gonna call it out. Not the same !!! And Beretta does in fact still make the 84. Overseas it is readily available. Here in the US we get batches of a thousand a year I believe. New. Finding them in the gun store however may be another story .

@@stephenbeyer2711 I am pretty sure the 84 has been replaced by the 80x. IMHO 80x is just the an updated 84 with bling and new springs.

Hey just found your channel and so far I like, I do have a question on the tisas. 380,some of the shots it looked like it was tumbling, could be me or trickery of the camera. Keep up the great work and I did subscribe and hit the like button.

I just bout the gen2 version that comes with wood grips and shapes more like the m84. I noticed there is a sizable gap above the front of the barrel and under the slide where the front sight is mounted. Is this 1st gen version designed the same way?

I have this and it does not decock . Has half cock and firing pin block . You have to decock manually and let go of trigger and slowly let the hammer fall to half cock.

After watching your range video I swear some of your rounds looked like they were key holing or some rounds were hitting the target sideways. It may be cheap ammo or it may be the gun. I would try to shoot at targets 25 & 50 yards away. If the rounds are still fairly accurate then maybe I’m wrong. Typically when rounds hit targets the make a fairly round hole. Some of the ones you fired looked like they hit sideways.
