Wow! Thank you so much for all this amazing information. You always do a great job with your content. I think it would be fun to see clips from your farmers markets set up/interaction with customers -at least from your perspective so you don't have to record the actual customer unless they would like to be on camera. You have such an enjoyable demeanor, it would be informative and fun to spend clips from your day. Thanks again for all your content.

Hi, regarding the oval mold - have you noticed a slight prutruding seam on one end of the exterior? I'm not sure if it's just my mold, but all my vessles so far have a visible bump running top-to-bottom on one end. Checked the mold and sure enough it was there. I wanted to order more to increase production, but I'm hesitant. So many companies on amazon offering the same product! Thanks!

Thank you very much for your tips in this video, they are very useful! I follow you from Spain and I always have the same doubt. When you talk about concrete, do you mean hormigón? I'm somewhat confused because I don't know if you mean Cement or hormigón, in Spanish it is called that. On the other hand, if it is hormigón and not cement that you use, why do you use concrete/hormigón and not cement? It's also very consistent, plus you wouldn't have to use TiO2 to clear it up. That is why doubts arise between the difference between what you call concrete and cement What mix do you use? Thank you very much and sorry for all the questions I ask you. It seems easy to make cement jars, but it really is not easy at all and I admire you for it, congratulations for your videos. i just love them😍

When you are pouring your molds how many molds do you pour at a time? I’m new to pouring the concrete vessels I have two molds just to see if I was going to like it which I do eventually I will get more molds but do you have to make your concrete mix runny so it doesn’t harden up or do you just pour so many at a time with your mix

You keep talking about concrete drying. Sure it does dry, but what you need to know is that concrete _CURES_. The concrete curing process can, and should, be done under water. That way heat and humidity will ALWAYS be the same and won't affect the batch to batch outcome. Curing is a chemical process where the wet cement particles coating the silica sand (in the case of Cement All) chemically grow a granular structure which interlocks to itself. If the concrete dries before it cures, then the curing process stops and those interlocking bonds don't happen leaving you with weak concrete. One day under water is a good start and much better than zero days or only a few minutes. One week is better and one month under water is best. Obviously you've figured out that your vessel castings are strong enough for candles, but if you were wondering why some are stronger than others, blaming Arizona's famous dry heat is a good start. You were spot on with your discussion about humidity. For small castings you could demold the vessels according to Cement All's directions and immediately place them into a bucket of water (as the (poor) instructions on the Cement All box direct). Near the end of your video you said that you will quickly learn how much Cement All to use for each mold. Once you have that figured out, you should weigh that amount of cement and write it onto each mold along with the weight of water so you aren't guessing in the future. Can you even write on silicone molds? Dunno. Alternatively I believe you can buy silicone measuring vessels in assorted sizes so you can skip the scales. The minerals in your water also make a difference. If you have hard tap water that varies in hardness from day to day, that's a problem. Soft water has all the calcium, magnesium, and iron removed and is much better. Bottled water is sometimes better than that. You can refill 5 gallon bottles of bottled water at Walmart and some grocery stores for pretty cheap compared to small bottles. The ceramics community does slip casting by making a thin slurry of clay to coat the inside of their casting molds. The same can be done with concrete, but you have to work faster (than clay). For concrete it works like this: you pour small amount of a slightly thinner batch of concrete into the mold first, tip and rotate the mold around to coat the inside of the mold, pour out any excess, and then pour the rest of the concrete in. For the area where the mold is exposed (the actual inside bottom of the vessel), you can use a chip brush to coat a thin layer of the "slip" and then do the pour over that. The brush removes the bubbles from the silicone/concrete interface. I don't think you could do a good marble effect like this, but for one color pours it should work to keep bubbles out of the surfaces. And as I look at your channel name, it seems to me you've figured out most of what I just said over the past year. I'll go sit down now, but maybe this will help someone else who is just looking at your tips.
