Thanks, Matti. It was a fun day and perfect weather to be out and about. 😄 It was nice hanging out with you.
‘Any frame is a good frame’…nicely said Matti!
What a fantastic surprise! Matti and Shane hitting the beach Down Under! Great Collab! Thank you gentlemen!!
Thanks to Matti for hanging out and making this fun video! If you're not already subscribed to Matti's channel check it out here - kzread.info/dron/bTioHxiyv-KeNztc4xLF8A.html and if you're new to my channel and you enjoyed the video, subscribe and drop a thumbs up! The next video we shot will be on Matti's channel.
I use Matti's three tips all the time. The biggest improvement came when I stuck with a single prime lens for almost a year. By doing so, I could mentally start to visualize the photo without the camera, isolating the subject, orienting to remove unwanted items, and placing the subject / composing the frame. My goal continues to be to get it right in camera.
You are two of my favorite KZreadrs. It’s good to see you together. 👍✌️

Thanks so much. 😄 It was a bit of a surreal day as I've been watching Matti's channel for years now. It's an awesome archive of great reviews. Thanks for the kind words.
Great Collab. Well done gents 👍🏻
Great vibe with these two guys
How can Matti have that nice skin tan color living in Finland? And how can Shane have that nice pale skin color living in Australia? 😅 Joking aside, great video! Two nice guys talking casually about photography basics is always welcome.

haha. I actually have a pretty good tan right now, but he's definitely got the edge! Thanks for the kind words, this video was a lot of fun :)

I spent over two months in Malaysia before Australia and that's why I'm not super pale😀
What a treat! The colors were so beautiful!
Great the meeting between you and mati. Do it again
I remember Matti he earlier used to talk more about the Panasonic cameras... and recently he has been shifted to more over the Sony camera... and talks mostly about Sony..
Two of my favorite unselfish helpful people Thank you. 🙂

Thanks, nice to see you both guys in one video. There was something to learn, even for a lightly experienced foto shooter ;-) . Nice tips, and great setting.

Nice video. Thanks 📷
Come on, Matti is not being fair, there are beaches like that in Finland! One just have to dig out the snow to find them ;-) Great video and collaboration, absolutely unexpected. Greetings from Baskimaa

Great stuff! Question, does the lack of an OLPF filter ever affect your videography on the S5 II?

The S5II image quality is my favorite from all my cameras. We shot this video in 4:2:0 10-bit and the image quality is great.

Great video Shane! Very exciting collab. Matti is a legend. Some of the photos and even clips in this video are great! May I know what the shot at 3:06 was shot on? Lens and camera

All of the talk to camera shots as the Panasonic S5II and 24mm F1.8 prime lens shooting in the natural picture profile. All of the cover shots (b-roll) was the G9II. Anytime there's a photo on screen it should say who took it - Matti used the A7IV and I had the S5IIX. :)
How about a switch camera challenge shooting with each other cameras? 😂
Hey Shane, I was speaking to Ryan from Rode at NAMM today and I suggested he reach out to you about working together on products both for promo and to get a musician's feedback on their gear and so on. Do you currently have a contact over at Rode? I know you have a lot of their gear. Hope that helps you in some way anyways. Cheers!

@@GeekyNerdyTechy Yes sir! It was great! We're driving back now. I know how much you use Rode stuff and since they bought Mackie, they felt it was important to find out what musicians are after. Enter Shane, perfect local fit 👍
