Good on you on for not making owning it. The women look for qualities in their partners (not the ones who for shallow things) must find you really attractive. Evolutionary women find outgoing, passionate, interesting(hobbies work too), funny and orderly men very attractive. If these are the qualities a women look for in their mate rather than relying on superfical needs(money, size, height, bad boy nature) then she's the one who deserves you. This is for every man outthere not matter the size just focus on improving your self and be the best person you can be, find happiness in yourself and the right women will come naturally to you. For guys shorter than 5'4 It will be harder to attract women much taller than you but the best of em will fall for you eventually If you come of as respected and know how to make the height difference not awkward. Finally women with preferences such as "just taller than me or not too much shorter than me" works too(especially If they are short themselves) ofcourse the best kind is that don't care about height at all but that does not make these other types more shallow or unworthy. Shorter guys will have a hard time with these ones but as I said the best ones will eventually..... Just keep this in mind above average guys, If she fits these types of women then you are in good hands of a wonderful loving women.

This applies to being fat too. I've always been a little overweight and when the conversation goes there I say I'm preparing myself to survive in case I get lost in the mountains, or that I'm fat on purpose so I can be warmer than everyone else during winter. People find it funny because it's absurd, and it shows I'm aware but comfortable with my body to the point I joke about it being "useful" rather than a negative trait. After I joke about it I usually bring up to the table how I lost 25kg, how it changes your perspective, how I've found out there's more of me inside than my appearance, and how it makes you feel weird that people treat you different when you lose weight. So... self-awareness, humour, and sharing a point of view some people may have never experienced.

I think if you truly become/act as charismatic (especially if you're trusting yourself) it won't matter that much that you weren't before. I mean yes people may not take you seriously or make jokes at first, but if you trust yourself and are confident you'll find a way to react in a proper way (maybe laughing with them if they weren't mean, calling them out without being too agressive, or literally explaining you're trying to improve socially..) and with time they may even forget. @@ravenclaw8227 Well, i think it's kinda expected to happen in other places, especially if you're from a place like Latvia or Netherlands where everyone is super tall. In a place like that it's probable that you would call attention for being short and would be rejected more often. But i have the suspicion that in the US it's more extreme because of their sports, Basketball and US Football are massive cultural influences and give them the idea that bigger it's equal stronger/better, regardless of context, and therefore short is bad. This also shapes notions of masculinity between man and women. But of course, my perspective it's limited to the cultures i have more experience with. I can't say for everyone's condition but i would say that women are more likely to go with shorter guys than people think, a quick search online will prove that, and not everyone it's the same. If there's someone like me who's irrationally passionate about tall girls, there's a chance you will find a weirdo that's also the same way with shorter guys. People have all sorts of fetishes (but i wouldn't call mine interest a fetish tho).

Every single one of these videos provides expectations on how people should react, respond, behave when they aren't communicating, etc. It just shows how much society EXPECTS people to behave, versus capitalizing on differences. Let's all pretend we have the same thoughts, actions, and conscious/unconscious desires.....

Forgive me if you already have a video on this topic or a similar idea, but I would _love_ to see something covering the topic of demonstrating confidence and/or controlling the frame in a virtual meeting environment like Zoom, TEAMs, etc. Although our world is slowly returning to a "new normal" with COVID, I think many companies and organizations have realized the benefits of video based "face to face" interactions. Especially when it comes to limited interactions like a job interview, and short-form meetings and appointments that don't rely on any kind of physical evaluation, I think a LOT of people could benefit from some guidelines on demonstrating confidence and control in social interactions where body language and verbal cues can be significantly limited.

I'm not short yet this advice still applied to me. I try to take up as little space as possible. I feel like if I don't it will be like I am hogging up space. Actually, to be honest, it was more like "Do I deserve to stretch out more? This isn't my train/room/couch." I read "No More Mr. Nice Guy" and started to take up more space and it felt good. I would even take up less space when in my car by myself because it was such an ingrained habit. I highly recommend the book especially if you find yourself seeking validation from the gender you find attractive.

I am a very short female, and one day, I was sitting on a couch with some friends. I immediately sat down and curled up. The guy sitting next to me said something like, "you know there is a whole couch to sit on. You don't have to take up as little space as possible." Lol. Didn't realize that my mindset is primarily based on not being a nuisance to anyone and am very shameful of existing most of the time.

When it comes to shaking hands, there's something else that can be helpful. Imagine that you shake hands with your right hand, in most cases that's true. The other person may put their left hand on your wrist or lower arm. You should then put your hand on their upper arm or shoulder. This gives the sense of you being in control, confident etc. If you want to create a feeling of likeness with the other person, rapport, then simply match them. They will subconsciously feel that you are like them and so more likely to get along with you. Something else that i'm sure many knows is how you shake hands. If you have a firm grip, although not to the point of stopping blood flowing, you will again come across as confident. If however, you give what is known as the dead fish handshake, Weak and limp, it will give the impression you lack confidence, that you are in a sense, giving in to the other person. It's a little like a dog laying down in submission to another dog. Watch a dog at play with another and you will see this happen from time to time.

Tom Holland calling himself quite short when he's 5'8 and average height is 5'9. The image of height is so off. Zendaya, and I don't mean this in a negative way because she's a gorgeous young woman, is above average for a woman. And they get along well. So it's a good example of how it doesn't even have to be an issue.

I clicked on this because I was intrigued. I'm 5'6" so not tiny, but short by most male standards. I actually sometimes do one or two of the things on this video, though I had never noticed. But actually, the most significant thing for me is that I really don't care. I come from a short family so being short is a part of my identity, it's a connection to my heritage. Additionally, I don't think people really give all that much thought to my height, so I don't really worry about commanding respect. It has come up in conversation, but broadly most people have never given a damn. I've never seen myself as in competition with the tall people. Aside from the mild inconvenience of having to ask people to reach things for me from time to time, it doesn't impact my life at all.
