From all the concerts that I’ve seen, Tina her concerts stand above all the others. That pumping energy …. The feeling that she stands before you as a crowd was an out of body experience. After seeing all the videos and finally seeing her was so big. It will never leave me
Oh my.....I am so Tina is now gone......Much love to her - she was so modest, down to earth, and kind. Was compassionate and just loved what she did. This is a woman who survived terrible abuse, escaped, worked very, very hard and was a huge success! Much love to little Anna Mae Bullock from Nutbush, Tennessee.......
Is it just me or every time she smiles it's like a sunrise...or a glimpse of the sun through storm clouds....... she has a breathtaking smile is what I'm getting at lol 😁

So elegant, graceful and delicate but also bold, strong and breathtakingly beautiful. The Queen of Rock and Roll has answered the call but while she was here, she wore her crown so well. RIP to the icon, the legend, the voice Ms Tina Turner ❤❤❤❤
My God!! What a phenomenal being. This woman drips beauty, intelligence, charisma, sweetness and class. She came She saw She conquered!! Larry King just knew how to make guests comfortable and unveil their truths. I could watch this interview a thousand times. We never really know what we have until it's gone. I hurt over Tina's passing like I lost a loved one. Rest in peace Queen of Rock & Roll...Rest in peace King of Talk.
Tina was radiant in this interview, in spite of the incessant, almost irritating, reminders by Larry King of her relationship with Ike. When it finally hit the topic of her spiritual development it reached another level. Although I don't share her beliefs, I have the deepest respect for her transformation and convictions. She is truly an amazing human being!

She's the most wonderful light-filled person I've ever seen. I always knew her hits but never knew her story until these last few days. Now I can say; Tina, I LOVE you. Thank you for all you have shared with us from the fire of your exquisite soul. Hearing how chanting helped her has got me back into doing it and I feel AMAZING for it. Thank you Queen. You have earnt your peace. May you rest in POWER.
Those interviewers know Tina hates talking about her traumatic past with Ike. She’s mentioned this several several times over the years, but they still insist on asking her every damn interview. She left him decades ago. That does not define who she is. She’s so much more than “Ike and Tina”. If I were her I would only do interviews on the condition they not mention Ike. Shame on those reporters

She's so big here in Brazil and South America. North America don't give the deserved value to legends like her since they no longer have more number #1 hits. The world outside America will always love and know about this legend forever.

Agree. I love in the U.S. and I hate the treatment our country gives to some of the legends. If they're no longer on the radar or have number hits, then they don't care for them too much. Its the same with actors and actresses. They only concentrate on the up incoming instead giving the attention the veteran actors. One of the reasons why I don't blame Tina for moving to Europe.

.Raised Baptist, Turner embraced Buddhism whole-heartedly in middle age and said its teachings changed her life. “I came to understand that any achievement stems from inner change and only you have the power to realize and change,” she told Harvard Business Review. “The more I studied Buddhist principles, the deeper I dug within myself and cleaned up whatever attitudes or habits were standing in my way.” Simply the best ~ better than all the rest "

I think that America didn't understand Tina. I love all music, I love a song that explains a story. I love it when a singer can dance and entertain while singing. She is desperately sick now and it's sad because she was a healthy woman who was abused both physically and mentally. She worked her A** off night and day and in her younger years she was abused. And then sickness moved in through her gift and Ike's habitual habits(Drugs). My prayers go out to her, her sons and dear husband Erwin BACH. Love you Tina Turner aka Anna Mae Bullock.

She's right. The fact that she only got inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist last year is disgusting. And she only got the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2018. I guess the American music industry snub her because she left and surpassed Ike, and they resent her for that.

@ Deborah...That is always the burning question...why did you stay if I may ask? Were you scared of him, they usually threaten to kill those who leave them... or had you been so beaten down that you felt you couldn't survive without him, cuz he convinced you no one else would want you, and your ugly and stupid and all the usual stuff that an abuser does, stripping any belief in yourself and all ur confidence...? I'm curious if there is another reason why a woman would tolerate it and 20 yrs is a lifetime.
I have had the privilege of personally meeting her in Minneapolis when she performed at First Avenue for her come back tour. She was, down to earth and very kind. She also gave me a poster for the tour, a signed 8x10, a T-shirt, and a kiss! During the show that night, she saw me standing next to the stage and I gave her the white bandana I was wearing. She carried it around with her for a few minutes and wiped off her sweat. She then gave it back to me. It's a treasure and I have never washed it. Thank you for a night I will never forget Tina!
