There's a reason why Tina Turner was inducted into the Guniness Book of Records for selling more tickets than any other solo artist in history

Let me guess why… for selling more tickets than any other solo artist in history?

For me it’s when she does that stomp, plants her leg and does her shimmy. All of them are completely synched and it makes make heart skip a beat. 😊
Tina Turner the legend who taught all her younger contemporaries how to put on a show and the woman who taught Mick Jagger how to strut. A born survivor and entertainer

Have no idea what your response is regarding to. Age was never mentioned in a derogatory manner. An icon is an icon regardless of age.
She has been doing this Proud Mary dance for over 40 years. It is, IMO, the most iconic rock/R&B "dance routine" (along with some of MJ's moves). Everyone waits for that transition and for the real dance to start. I smile and move every time I see it. Gold.
Tina is the QUEEN
In order to put things in perspective, this was Tina's final performance at Wembley. She was an astonishing 60 years old at the time. Known throughout her career for those great legs (and dancing in high heels) her powerful voice, and high energy performances...and those incredible legs were still intact. Tina is still with us and still looks great at the ripe young age of 80. The Queen of Rock and Roll. Long may she reign.
Tina Turner! Star! Legend! Looks great! Dances double great! Sings Faaaaaaaaantastically sweet AND hot! Been lovin' Tina long time! So try not to take it the wrong way when I say, Dereck.....who needs you?!
This will always be Tina’s song
I LOVE seeing young people react to the older artists. Tina is about 80+ now (2020) and I pray she knows how much she is still loved. That lady had tremendous energy and talent. Love her to life!
At age 72...72!! in Dallas, she put on an equally unbelievable performance!! And did it ALL in high heels! She is the best! Best concert, hands down, ever!
90,000 capacity and that mug is packed... She's 60 or 61 here I believe and Tina's concerts always sold out to the very end and here's a prime example why, first off, she sounds AMAZING live, second, her performances, they were always high energy and top tier and she loved her fans dearly and was a performer and entertainer through and through and loved doing it.. truly, when you attended a Tina Turner concert, you got a Tina Turner experience ❤❤ great reaction. Fly High Tina.. #theoriginalproudmary
She was in Her 60’s here.....damn! Tina is a legend!!!!
At 60+yrs dancing, running and singing in 6” heals with high energy… untouchable. Love your reactions 👍👌
She is the Queen of Rock and Roll. We're in the presence of music royalty!
And just think she was 61 years old doing this performance, imagine what she was like in her twenties! I remember it well! "What's Love Got to do With It" the official video should be your next reaction! Fabulous reaction!
Tina was a queen & she was in her 60's in this performance.
Who says 60 can't be sexy? Fabulous performance.

When you said "legs going nuts", I cracked up. I adore Tina! And it is amazing to see young people falling in love with her for the first time!!! And I loved your awesome review❤. Your reaction and Tina's magic had ME going nuts!!!
It is amusing how he is so smitten with and shocked by how she turns up on this song. Most of us over 40, know this routine very well. It's great that younger folks are appreciating it.
Tina is a freaking LEGEND! She is badass in this performance. LOVE her.

I was "only" in Munich to watch that show but I can only confirm what you wrote, what a night!! I saw her 2 more times later in the 90s but though the concerts were great they could not match with the Break Every Rule Tour!

I had gotten to see her twice! Both times I just started my ninth month pregnancy after being on 5 months bed rest. I gave birth within 24 hours later.! She was so fantastic! She tops my favorite concerts I have ever seen. I have seen a lot.
She sure as hell give all those young background dansers a run for their money.... The Lengedary Tina...
She was 60 here looking and dancing like this. RIP, my QUEEN 🕊 ❤😢
QUEEN OF ROCK AND ROLL!
"I expect something big" Its Tina Turner, its always big...
Queen of Rock and Roll.
LOL... She warned you, and you were still surprised. LOL
She's telling and performing a story!

A Queen. Utter legend and lady that is Ms Tina Turner. God I adore her
Cos she's Simply the Best !!! ❤
Those of us in our 60's already know what's coming
As a European, watching this performance, you think that's what makes America great!
62 years old and in high heels!
Never seen this live performance. Tina is always amazing. But those back-up dancers are puttin' in WORK.
*Irreplaceable* ... *Incomparable* ... *Icon* ... *Legend* ... There is, and will be only *one* *Tina Turner* in all of humanity.
super granny Tina the queen of rock!!!! a legend! superb artist!
She preformed this song for decades, she always owned it!
I got tired watching her dance! Jesus!!!! I love Tina.
I was there both nights at Wembley. Hard to believe it was 20 years ago this month. You can even see me in the video lol

I loved everything you said about Tina! Absolutely right that was a performance for the ages.
She is the Queen of Rock an Roll !!
TINAAAAAAAAAA❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
And she did it all in 5 inch heels! The woman defies the laws of physics!
she could sing and dance at the same time without losing breath control. No one could do it better. All the current singers have to lip sinc to their songs if they even do a little bit of dancing in their concerts. She is legend
Absolutely ..."THE QUEEN"❤❤❤
Back in the 70's she had her legs insured with Lloyds of London for $5,million dollars. In today's money that would be $5 billion dollars. When she made this concert she was 69 Y/O. She died last year at 83 YO.
This was a woman in her 60s, a hero for those of us women that had to restart a life.
She has been doing Proud Mary - easy, then rough since 1971 back to her days with Ike Turner.

The 1st time Ike (😬😠) and Tina performed this song was 1969. I was 8, I remember it clearly.
Can you explain how she maintains that powerful vocals while running around and dancing please. Shouldn’t we hear breathlessness when she sings. This woman is incredible!👑🎤
ii am the same age as TINA just wish i had the same amount of energy she has BLOODY FANTASTIC
Accolades to the background singers and dancers. They help make the show. and they are so gorgeous and talented.
Esto solo lo podia hacer TINA❤❤❤
TINA, the best 🥰🥰🥰 👏👏👏👌👌👌👍👍.

Simply the best!!
I love her performances, a 60 year old goddess, learning the 20 years old backings the way it should be done, and the best part is that the young ones are having a hard time to keep up with her 😂🎉❤
Tina Turner kicks butt!!! She is phenomenal! And Wembley is lit up!!! Great crowd too... Love your reaction!!💜💜💜
Seeing Tina live is one of the best concert experiences you can ever have. Just incredible. 7 times since 1985 😎
Live is indescribable. I've been blessed to see her perform twice, and she is a POWERHOUSE on stage! Videos of her live performances can't even come close to the real thing
Tina is in her fifties in this concert showing the kids how it is done!
I had a rather disheartening day at work today but this sure brightened my day. Thanks so much Dereck for doing this great reaction. Tina is truly one of the best performers ever, giving every fibre of her being to the performance. Her energy is unmatched. She wasn't called 'the hardest working woman in show business' for nothing. I like one of the lines that she used during live performances of this song earlier on in her career: 'People ask me: when am I gonna slow down. You know what I tell 'em? I'm just getting started!' Here's a concert filmed in the Netherlands early 1984: kzread.info/dash/bejne/nYxktK-NpZXbk7A.html. Proud Mary is at 53:15 where she used that line as well. This was not long before she became a superstar with the Private Dancer album so she was still playing smaller venues. But she always gave just as much energy and stage presence to her performance as when she played huge stadiums just a few years later. Exceptional woman.
Could not wait to see your face when she busts out the "ROUGH" . Tina still has so much musical, gorgeous, legendary girl POWER. Love her ❤
There will never be another Tina. Tina's the Queen!
🧡 Tina ! There's no one like her. A lifetime of talent and sass that's brought her her much-deserved icon status. Tina, Gladys, Aretha, Patti, Donna, ... the list goes on! Thanks again, Dereck, for another great reaction.
She told you EXACTLY how she was gonna do it. Then she did it. lol

What's more impressive is watching some of the newer videos where she is doing this in her 70's.
This was on her last concert tour. I saw it. Tina is the best... in her 60s she was so hot she could make teenage boys cry.
I've been lucky enough to see Tina a few times over the years. However fantastic she seems on video, she is on another level when you are there live. She is a true performer and she always makes sure the audience get there money's worth. She's the best!
Imagine this is your Grandma dancing this awesome!!!!!!
Such an entertainer. I could not sit still at her concert when I saw her live.
I'm 51 and still think this is the best ever female performance, makes my wife laugh every time LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This gives me chills every time I watch it and I was lucky enough to see her perform this live a few years ago during her last tour of the UK. Unforgettable. A Queen without a doubt. Thank you for another great reaction!

Me toooooooo! Am SOOOOOO Happy i saw her live! Was d booooooommmmb!
Straight jaw dropping performance that leaves you speechless.. All you can do is sing and dance along with her.
They never do it like this anymore… no auto tunes…just straight talent, and 💯% HIGH ENERGY ENTERTAINMENT!!!👍🏾👏🏾👏🏽👏🏼👏🏿👏👍👍🏽👍🏾
She was 63 when she did this performance. The woman had it❤❤
I saw her in concerts a few times and she always gave 110% in her shows - very physical and tons of energy. And she was in her 60s then! She's freaking amazing!
#TinaTurner pure energy. Pure talent
Time for another in memory of Tina Turner ❤
"Get the flip out of here!" I knew you were gonna say something like that. She is an amazing performer.
Your reaction is funny. When the Ikettes were dancing with her it was mind blowing! She's a boss.
She teases and, boy, she DELIVERS!
She'll be 81 this year and now lives in Switzerland with her husband. Tina was managed by an Australian, Roger Davies.
She was so good, so sad she's gone.
Fabolous Tina ❤
Beautifull ...Tina Turner legend amazing woman❤
I say this with love. You all are so young. :D This is an updated version of what the Ike and Tina Turner Revue did on the Ed Sullivan show in the early 70's with the Ikettes. Thank goodness Tina had long dumped Ike. She's the Queen of Rock!!!
Tina legs I believe are in some type of museum, not her physical legs but her legs are iconic
*******Good to play again
Totally live! Singing, dancing and performing at the same time ... Legend!
Why are ppl always so amazed when 60+ women sing something amazing, but when the 60,70+ counterparts (males) do the same it's just seen as an of course... Tina's a legend in her own right
Saw a concert at the Sydney Entertainment Centre in the (early ?) 1990’s. Was fantastic. And watching Tim Cappello being led around the stage by a long chain around his neck as he played the saxophone was brilliant. The crowd went wild.
she is the Queen of Music
Tina is a fabulous performer and always has been. She's lived a life full of tremendous hardship and success. I recommend watching her biopic What's Love Got To Do With It. It's an awesome movie. Anyways, great video. Keep up the good work.
Not bad for a 60yo woman. Looking like that and her energy, amazing. Great reaction. 🇨🇦🔥🔥🔥🥇👍💖
You killing me dude! Another of my favorites! Saw her 4x in concert! She danced like that through a lot of her concerts! She is a Legend! Thanks guy!
This Lady is a hell of a star. Came from my era. Her 1st husband use too control her and domestic violence. She got out and lived her best life. Amazing
Watch her live performance of this song at 73 years old! Her last concert ever! UNREAL!
Ohhhhhhweeeee Tina u the best, we all love ur way u know it
TINA QUEEN!!!
