This watch grew on me. I didn't like it at first but my gf liked it. It's 3 years old now (Bought it December 2017). The battery is still good. The strap hasn't cracked or melted considering how hot my place is (34c). I too have a small wrist, but it doesn't look or feel awkward at all. The screen is clear of Gshock clutter, and the time itself is the biggest I've seen, perfect for people with bad eyesight like me. Thanks for the awesome review.

Is it possible to shorten the time needed to hold the button to reset the chrono?

"WATCH OUT" ,...for the wrist bands.As they can actually crack and come off of the hidden pin that's under those those two bolts(if you overly yank on the wrist bands).I purchased a green one (new),for $31.99 from Amazon 2 years ago.The indiglo night light bulb actually blew out,but I still wear it.

I like the watch square design very much and especially the big display but sadly some users say Timex is not that solid. I think I will go for a G-shock again.

Best review! Thank you! It is any option how to stop the time no.2 and T3 to save some battery for example? I discover if y leave display in Hydra mode at 11min40sec or even Timer mode at 1:11:40 i will save a lot of battery from less light up display digits.

This watch also comes in an even more blacked out version. The fake allen key bolts are blacker, the face rim is blacker, and the screen colors inverted. So background is all black and the numbers and second hand are the white/grey color of the watch in the vid.

Well i never had the Shock XL but i think it might be a bit better then the grid shock. Why? Because the Shock XL is 200 meter water resistent and the grid shock only 100. And the front "glas" seems to be better protected on the shock XL then on the grid shock. If the plastic could get scratched by putting it on a flat surface facing down then it's not the best watch for real outdoor use. But as of right now i also don't know if the shock xl has a night mode.

@@freund333 Warm thanks for your reply! I just asked a both watches owner. The answer was: - Shock XL has indeed crystal mineral glass. - Shock XL doesn't have a Night Mode. - Shock XL doesn't have a metal bezel. It's some resin. - Shock XL 's display is very ugly and it doesn't have all the info of Grid Shock. The conclusion was that the Grid Shock is 3 levels above the Shock XL and even the water resist indicator seems to be vice-versa, the Grid Shock seems better protected. I'm sold to the Grid Shock. I already ordered it and it is on it's way to my wrist. Because of you. Thanks again!

No i can't cause this watch has no altimeter. You are thinking of the Timex WS4 which looks the same.

Have you tried to change the battery? Sometimes when the battery is weak the watch still works but the indiglo doesn't anymore.

I think this is the night mode. It means that the indiglo light turns on every time you push any button. This can be useful if you want to change a setting while it's dark. The night mode should deactivate automatically after a few hours.

Sorry but thats not it. This watch wasn't even available when the movie came out. Afaik did he wear a Timex Stealth.

It is plastic and does scratch, I have since buffed out the scratches, so my crystal is brand new and put on a screen protector.

Timex is great but they dropped the ball with the watch bands. They are cheap, stiff, uncomfortable black plastic. You can’t replace them , they are part of the entire watch mold. Watch:👍 Band:👎
