This is a very especial track .Time to die is one of my old songs that I think deserved an update both in the mix, with some improved sounds and arrangements and also in the visuals.

Hands down, for me, this is the greatest science fiction film made. As a kid, seeing it in the 80s, I was mesmerized. As an adult, I’m simply in love with the film. It’s history, it’s impact on pop culture, all of it.

I met Rutger Hauer when he stepped off my flight from LA to A'dam 26 Dec. 1990. He had a bunch of heavy cases to get from the luggage belt and no one to help him. Very soft spoken and kind. I wasn't sure if I should speak Dutch or English (my first language being American) so spoke both... and felt foolish! Lol. Had big fleshy hands, just as you see in B.R. Always felt privileged to have met him. RIP "Roy".

9:58 brilliantly done, hearing those words always send a chill down my spine
Remember seeing Blade Runner with about 5 people in a theatre back in 1982 summer in Portland. It hit me hard but too young to process all the meanings... His last soliloquy, uttering the words of his brief but brilliant life. Stretching out his arm to save Deckard. By saving Deckard, he honors his own life. And yes, perhaps even saving humanity from itself...
Tears in the rain is a true reflection on what goes on in real life we all live and die doesn't matter today or tomorrow it comes for us eventually, for example It's too bad she won't live, but then again who does just enjoy those times we have now becuase every second goes past the hour then day the month and year it doesn't stand still make friends not enemies

Just Fantastic. Amazing how many people are on KZread creating these for a movie that is over 40 years old. I think it is in the top 10 movies made since the birth of cinema.
this is a very special song, and the visuals capture the mood of the epic event when machine transcends its programming.. Denise Villeneuve replaced the rain with snow in Blade Runner 2049, but his ending pays homage to the 1982 tears in the rain scene.. K transcends his programming.. I used GPT-4 and Suno AI to capture the theme of Bladerunner, an essay on man, machine and authenticity.. Roy was at the peak of authenticity in the scene.. Are we the creators, or are we the created? In this dance of man and machine, are we not both fated? To reach for the stars, or to fall like tears in rain, The promise of AI, our Eden, or our bane.
'Iconic' isn't a big enough word to describe this Magic... Huge RESPECT to Philip K. Dick/Ridley Scott/Vangelis/Rutger Hauer/Harrison Ford/Sean Young/Hampton Fancher/David Peoples et al.. A SciFi 'Benchmark' film..# My #1...
