Ti ho raccontato tutto della mia vita. Sai quanto ho sofferto. Eppure esiti ancora, sospetti ancora. Fermati in tempo amore mio! Ora dormirò, dopo aver recitato la mia preghiera preferita. Buonanotte❤

This music really captures the wonder of when God breaks through the natural to make a way for us, fallible human beings. Many times the Biblical stories can become so "normal", but this movie does so well to break boxes and reveal the holiness and majesty of God. One can only stand in wonder and give Him praise.

After thousands of years of inspired believers writing beautiful songs and hymns about God, I am awestruck at the way Zimmer was able to capture the Person, Idea, and Spirit that is God in this track so completely. Ever since I was young, this song has always stood out as one of the most Beautiful, Glorious, Spiritual, Divine, and Transcendent.
@RugbyPass81

It needs to be sinister to capture the essence, spirit and idea of god, since as anyone knows by reading the bible, god is a vengeful, hateful, and brutal thing that will punish souls in hell for all eternity for the very things it created them to do in the first place - since it's omniscient and has known since before time began, since before it even created us what each of us will do. Seems pretty evil to me.
@kris8263

@@RugbyPass81The biblical idea of God isn't sinister. In his generosity he created beings in his image and granted them free will. One of his closest archangels thought what it would be like to be God and turned against Him. Turning into dark, low frequency, manipulative energy within God's domain. Justice is not sinister, neither is fury. How long should God tolerate part of it's creation putting up conscious, premeditated effort to deny "His" existance. In essence God is the great I AM, described in the old testament. Neither good nor bad..."He" just is. Blaming God for what you consider sinister atributes of His is pretty bold and gutsy. Not even giving him the benefit of the doubt? Are you even greatful for the mere gift of existence and being created or do you take that for granted? m.kzread.info/dash/bejne/hn1qrZOSZ8nch5M.html&pp=ygUISSBhbSBnb2Q%3D Do not judge if you don't want to be judged...and here you are judging The Judge, your creator, the great I AM, conscious energy permeating everything in existence, whithout whom/which you sir do not exist. @@RugbyPass81 What if He is actually your Father in Heaven? What if He loves all of us, His children, more than we love ourselves? What if He is actually the most loving, most merciful Being in existence? What if the thing He wants most, the very reason He exists, is to make us happy in this life and in the life to come? A scripture verse, Moses 1:39, says, "For behold, this is my work and my glory-to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man". What if at first He seems hateful, violent and destructive just because we are limiting our view of Him to a bunch of very dramatic stories in the Old Testament? God is more than that, and we can see Him as more after we make the effort to pray to Him, understand Him, understand His will, and asking for His help to obey Him. 1 John 4:16 says "God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him." I believe the more we get to know God on a personal level, the more we can know His TRUE character as someone who is Perfectly Loving, All-Powerful, and All-Knowing. He is not someone who wants to see us punished: He is a Parent, a Perfect Father, Who wants to give us every chance to see us return home to Him. But every parent knows there are times to be *merciful* and there are times to be *just*. Matthew 18 has a parable of the unmerciful servant, in which Jesus (acting, talking, and teaching on our Father in Heaven's behalf) teaches that we ought to forgive others, just like how God is willing to forgive us. *He is merciful when we strive to change* our wrong ways, but *when we do wrong and do not show mercy to others, He has to be just* ; He cannot give us the blessings in store for us, that He wants to give us. Punishment is necessary. So, in the end, isn't it OUR choice to accept God's love and help? God, as a perfect Parent, does not have favorites. He wants us all to be happy and safe, but He cannot bless those who do not obey Him. Also, like any parent, the one thing He cannot do is control us. We need to make the choice for ourselves to find Him and understand Him. In regards to those many stories in which God killed and destroyed and cast out, it was NOT because God hates people. It is because (just to name a few examples) Cain, the people at the tower of Babel, the people who ignored Noah, the people in Sodom and Gomorra, Rameses and all of Egypt during the time of Moses, ALL rejected God and His help. Since God can see all things in the past and all things in the future, He knows that certain people, by their evil choices, have the power to put a stop to His work of saving as many of His children who want to be saved. That is why He occasionally has to resort to destruction and violence on those who hate, reject, and ignore Him. A final thought from the scriptures, Deuteronomy 4:31 (from the Old Testament) says "For the Lord thy God is a merciful God; he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them." Those who dedicate and promise their lives to God will receive His promise of mercy.

John 3:15-21 that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. ”For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. ”For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.“ ”He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.“ ”And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.“ ”For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.“ ”But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.“

If there is no greater love than to die for ones friend, (as we see time and time again as sacrificial love in Hollywood movies) then how much greater is God's love for you and me who rebel and hate what is good. @@stuffandthingzzzz3623 I say this with fear of God and in all reverence to the Word of God. God purposed salvation to the Gentiles in the fall of the Jews. My sincere hope and prayer for the Jews is that the blinders be removed and the spirit of slumber be lifted from them so they see Yeshua the Christ as their Redeemer and the Rock of their salvation. Paul states these important words in Romans: "1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. 2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel saying, 3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life. 4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. 5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace. 6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. 7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded. 8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day. 9 And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them: 10 Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway. 11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy. 12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness? 13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office: 14 If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them. 15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead? 16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. 17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; 18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. 19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in. 20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: 21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. 22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. 23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be grafted in: for God is able to graft them in again. 24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree? 25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. 26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: 27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. 28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father's sakes." A single thread in a tapestry Though its color brightly shines Can never see its purpose In the pattern of the grand design And the stone that sits on the very top Of the mountains mighty face Does it think it's more important Than the stones that form the base? So how can you see what your life is worth Or where your value lies? You can never see through the eyes of man But look at your life through heaven's eyes A lake of gold in the desert sand Is less than a cool fresh spring And to one lost sheep, a shepherd boy Is greater than the richest king If a man loses everything he owns Has he truly lost his worth? Or is it the beginning Of a new and brighter birth? So how do you measure the worth of a man In wealth or strength or size? In how much he gained or how much he gave? The answer will come to him who tries And that's why we share all we have with you Though there's little to be found When all you've got is nothing There's a lot to go around No life can escape being blown about By the winds of change and chance And though you never know all the steps You must learn to join the dance

Much like the undeniable JOY and AWE of experiencing the power of God when I received the Holy Spirit baptism, 20 yrs ago…which still remains today, every day…there is no denying God after you are truly born-again. 🙌🏼

It is. I had a dream that I was in a cathedral and there was thousands of people and angels singing just like this but it was a lot more beautiful than this if you can imagine! It was like I knew exactly what note was going to be sung at every second! Like I remembered the singing like was there before! I believe I was in some part of heaven! I remember singing and crying at the same time! Then I woke up and I was still crying because it was so beautiful!

❤ To all of you who have babies, toddlers and children ...and to pregnant woman... Just let them have this music in their home enviroment, and other Hans Zimmer music/soundtrack or other amazing composers ❤ I did that with my first and specially with my second child... it's amazing to watch their reaction... my second recoznized one of the several musics I heard during my pregnancy... when I decided to play it with one month old, I could not believe...her eyes stared at me like she know... she was still and almost not blinked ... she recognized the music... and with 3 years old, my older son started to learn cello/music... at the age of 7 she was already learning cello/music... both are resident members of a Youth Orchestra, which my son was a founder student... from 12 to 18 years old... my son left when he went to University ...my daughter is a resident member of the same Orchestra... they played both together...with 7 years of age difference, but was a bet of the Maestro... it was perfect! They both played Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Howard Shore, Ennio Morricone, James Horner, and the classical ones... Although my older son, does not played any more... ge sometimes listen her sister rehearsals and just come next to her and give some hints... we was good on cello but better on composing... but he choose his own path and we respect him for that... but music lives inside him... as lives inside my daughter... two cellists...two musicians... ywo excelent human beings... and only good grades...music is more than we think so... learning it makes the persons better.. And I never, ever decided to put them in music... they decided to learn music and choose cello... it was not my fault 😊 ... if I kwen I was doing well for them to listen music as an enviroment ambient inside our house... I already did that at my parents house! ❤

The Burning Bush from this OST has lived rent-free in my head since 1998. It is one of the most gorgeous and emotional musical art pieces. I wish Prince of Egypt had released today, not to experience it again, but because OSTs are much larger usually, giving us the multiple variations found. The Burning Bush's melody shows up in multiple places, including when the River Nile turns to blood, and as shown in the video, the splitting of the Red Sea.

Just listening to this reminds me how God is beyond time, he can control everything, for he created it. Throughout all of his creation, he created man in his image, breathed life into us, then when we sinned and looked away from him, he sent his only son to die on a cross for us, so that we may be with him. This image of Moses parting the Red Sea may look like a fantasy, but that that actually happened. The Israelites really did escape the wrath of Egypt’s pharaoh by God parting the Red Sea, walking on dry ground. In the end pharaoh tried to peruse them but he and his forces drowned after all the Israelites passed and the walls of water collapsed in. This story, along the many others in the Bible, show the true power of God and more. If the creator of all things does this for the people that care for him the way he cares for us, then why not follow him. We will never be like him, but we can strive for it, for the love and hope and peace that he gives freely. If your searching for something in your life, a meaning to it, get a Bible, go to church and truthfully hear what God has to say to you. You are not alone, you never were.

Now a days church makes me feel like I'm valued and loved for who I am long as I always except God and Jesus in my heart.

@@brainfly8479 The Bible has never been proven contradictory. It has been and will always be accurate and truthful. It's God's holy word. God's word cannot be faulted, and it cannot be disproven. And I don't mean any disrespect to you brother, but the Bible is very clear in God's disapproval of homosexuality in any form. Sex and marriage are holy in God's eyes, and by being bisexual, you are defiling his plan for us as his children. One man and one woman in love, serving the Lord. The churches that are welcoming homosexuality and pansexuality are blinded, and need to renew their knowledge of the Bible. That being said, God loves you, even through your sin, he loves you, and Jesus died for you. I only hope that you can see the sin in your life for what it is, and become more pure in his sight, and ask his forgiveness. God bless you.

Fermati in tempo amore mio! Ora dormirò, dopo aver recitato la mia preghiera preferita. Buonanotte❤

@kris8263

Hans Zimmer is truly in a league of his own. This score is UNBELIEVABLY powerful. By the finale around 19:00 my heart couldnt take it anymore and I'm not ashamed to say that I was humbled to tears. THANK YOU FOR SHARING!! ❤
I'm gonna play this at bedtime prayer for my children. ❤
The best part about this film and soundtrack is no matter if you are religious or not you feel a presence when watching/listening to it. It's an ethereal experience. One of my top movies of all time.
What this music did for the scene in the film made this moment to be one of my favourite moments in films to this day. It just felt magical, and that you believed it was meant for god. Made me think myself that even though I don't always love myself he could possibly love me for who I am and help me believe that.

If there is no greater love than to die for ones friend, (as we see time and time again as sacrificial love in Hollywood movies) then how much greater is God's love for you and me who rebel and hate what is good. A love to die for your enemy...thats the entire Bible. The old testament say God will defeat death. The new testament says how he did it. Thanks be to my Lord, savior, and best friend, Jesus Christ. @@brainfly8479 That's the best part, He loves us regardless of what we have done because Jesus paid for everything o the cross. I had horrible shame in my life because of the terrible sexual things that I was lost in. The amazing thing about God's love is that it's so hard to understand, how could He want us back considering what we've all done? That's mercy, and that mercy is found in Jesus. Come into the light with all your faults and sins before God, and let Him recieve you because of Jesus!
If you ever feel alone he is always with you and loves you no matter what is going on. God will make a way. You are loved ❤

I spend a lot of time going through tons of music and most of it I could do without. My god this was so powerful, deep and beautiful. The layering and strength at 13:50 & 18:50. I don't mind telling you this brought tears.

I am not a religious guy, never have been. But this film was amazing. And the music UGH it just tugs at your very being just listening to it
Just listening to this reminds me how God is beyond time, he can control everything, for he created it.
