Yes unfortunately, my dear Mom passed away on a sunny afternoon 6 months ago, I hope she found her peace. The feeling of not knowing about the other side or even if there is an other side is annoying, just hoping all loved ones will be together again somewhere in time.

I lost my mom three times over the years. First to a car accident, then she was kidnapped a few years after she got out of coma, this was 1995, i never got to see her after that. She died 2019. Just a year later my father dies.. Grief is a love that has no place to go. 'A love remembered' has filled that void many times. Thank you Wojciech Kilar, rest in melody.

The moment in wich you realize(d) that after many many years, your flame still burns.

This has reached me on a spiritual level, its taken me to a different dimension, if you've never experienced music this way, then you're doing something wrong.

I have been watching this movie now and then ... since I was 14. NEVER SEEN SUCH A MASTERPIECE !!! Whenever I watch it, I feel part of the story

My God, whenever I listen to dracula 1992 songs, I cry alot, it touches my heart idk how, I feel Dracula's pain to reunite with his long lost love.

2020 ... Still listening to this wonderful piece by Kilar.. The Armor in the darkness adds emotion to this amazing rendition.. I'm so very thankful that god has allowed me to appreciate works like this, and to understand the context it speaks.. Very Moving...

This is beautiful in a haunting way. It reminds me of the past and the sobering fact that time is quickly gaining the upper hand, It is capable of moving one to tears.

I'm 38 years old and to feel love like i did when i found my 1st love was from another world that i had never imagined … i gave her and showed her everything within my power and told her on a daily basis that i loved her so much we did a lot together and i swear when she left and never came back the months It took too heal myself to become a shadow of the man who i used to be felt like an eternity to say the least it was very painful without a doubt i couldn't sleep or eat without her and i truly believe she created a monster that day she left me as don't believe there is any other way to say why I became such a cold hearted ignorant selfish bastard of a person i am today, yet 16 years later i find myself sitting here lost within the memories of the music still reminiscing over those days when the love i felt was so strong and pure and person i was, such a pitty but i can see myself within prince Dracula when hes around mina just like i was around my love and yet i cant help but feel his pain because i was there ... im still a monster just like he is ... and yet we only want one thing ... pure true love !

@Claudine Cherry Auchmuty it's like a distant memory, like hovering in a boat with a long sea, and seeing within the fog the person you love, unreachable, and the more you row towards that person, the longer it seems to take to get there, an impossible destination. Yet other shores don't seem enough for you to land in, because that person has been the only place you wish to dock to, So you become lost in the Sea, preferably alone than in the company of those that do not fill the special puzzle piece in your heart

To hear this breaks my heart all over again....my husband died 6 years ago at the age of only 48.....i was shattered... unable to function for weeks....i used to envy Dracula s brides than van Hellsing mercifully took thier heads before Dracula was killed.... those three won't ever known the anguish of having to endure after the loss of a bond that transcended life and ran soul deep....

I remember when the movie first came out on VHS and as soon as I heard this song, I knew what love was...well in my mind

imagine for a second you could broadcast this sound from space, down towards earth for all of mankind to listen at the same time. There would be peace on earth I am sure of it. The world needs freedom. Freedom from the banks and governments who are keeping chains on the human spirits. Freedom from the hatred and violence being fueled by the media and evil money. I’m the same!! Im 38 and saw this movie 25 years ago and have not stopped watching since. One of the GREATEST dracula movies ever made. And this masterpiece is so beautiful so melancholy.

I imagine traveling by train in an afternoon, about to get dark, in an uncertain destination, but where time wanted it to not advance

I didn't know who I was until I saw this film, it awakened something deep inside me. Francis Ford Coppolas interpretation goes to the heart of a story we all thought we knew. And Wojciech Kilars music takes me back to myself every time. Thank you🌹

Coppola didn't tell Bram Stoker's story, though. The romance with Dracula and Mina isn't in the novel at all. In the novel he more or less rapes her, which makes it pretty creepy that they always get paired up so often now.

When my wife and I got married, our wedding song was “Love Song for a Vampire”, which is also from this firm. That was because we met in college, broke up after graduation and found each other by chance several years later. As our love for each other never died, we thought that song was quite appropriate. During the cocktail hour at our wedding reception, we had numerous love songs played which I had copied on to a CD. One of them was the original version of this song from the soundtrack. Had I known about this version of it, it would have certainly been played. This is such a beautiful version of it. Maybe I’ll use it if we renew our vows one day…

I just rewatched the film yesterday - this is such beautiful scoring and matches the ambience so well.
