Tszyu was on the Thurman/Fundora and then Crawford route and Ortiz had to move to 154 after rhabdomyolysis and we still aren't sure where he is? Do you follow either of their careers or just this Eddie-Frank old wives gossip?

At 5:48 it shows Tszyu has had 4 more fights but Ortiz Jr has done it in 70 less rounds. I'm an Australian but I don't underestimate Ortiz. Those big heavy hitters can't be underestimated. I consider this will be Tszyu toughest fight and it will be a great fight.

You gotta taken into account the quality of their opposition. Ortiz's best wins are blown up 140lbers (Orozco & Hooker) and Mean Machine while Tszyu has been fighting top 10 154lbers for a while. Easier to go on a KO streak when you fight smaller guys. I'm a fan of both but I think Ortiz needs to acclimate to 154 and fight someone like Jesus Ramos first.

I was not going to buy the event. But, now I will. This match is unmissable. My wife will be upset at me spending so much money on boxing. Oh well. I guess I will be sleeping on the couch.

Vergil Ortiz’s manager is already throwing it out there that he wants Tszyu vs Ortiz to main event (make more money) so despite how enticing this fight sounds, I won’t believe it’s happening until the bell rings because Ortiz’s manager has a track record of pulling his fighters out of fights (Jose Ramirez/Teofimo Lopez).

This is the fight I’ve been most excited about in a long time. I’m Aussie but I’m still going for Virgil Ortiz. His aggression and power punching make him my favourite fighter

I’ve watched tyszu sparring a few times and you summed his style up perfectly

Either Ortiz will stop Tszyu late or Tszyu will slowly break Ortiz down & knock him out.

I like Virgil Ortiz fights because he looks so dominant, but people are making him out to be Beterbiev. Virgil just dominated a guy who went 4-6 and 1 in his last 11 who never fought at 154. Virgil didn't even make weight at 154. He has health issues. He has literal meatballs on his record who he's dominated. Tim has fought better opposition and has been the far more active fighter. That loss was due to a freak cut which blinded him. In that 2nd round, Tim was already catching/timing Fundora. If Virgil doesn't come up with a ko early, it's very likely he'll gas. For those reasons, 65/35 Tim's favor. Tim has more experience.

Tim is tuff. Should be a goos one. Close to 50-50 for me.

The fight is not insane as this video title says. It is the Tszyu camp that is totally insane to accept this fight after losing to another young Latino fighter just recently. Considering Ortiz's fight record there is no guarantee that Tszyu will have back to back loss on his record within 6 months. Tszyu should be the one that comes back to his senses and pull out before it's too late.

Truly a 50/50 for me. I initially wanted to lean towatds Vergil, but his chin isn't as proven as Tims at 154. Oh man this is a crazy fight. This is more exciting than the main event 💯

I feel tszyu comes in he might get knockout. I believe tszyu needs to come when in smart. Because vergil does actually have the punch power to knockout tszyu. But over all like both fighters.

I've got my money on tim or virgil winning this fight. And feeling quietly confident about that pick.

I think Tim has the slight reach advantage.

This fight is hard to predict.This is tsyus weightclass.His power and precision could give vergil troubles.On the other hand, vergil has superior firepower that could overwhelm tim.But if i were to bet, my money is on tim. Im just not sure if he is the same fighter after what happened to him and the dulorme fight doesnt really mean much.

American fan boys are going to be disappointed. Tszyu is on another level compared to Ortiz and Ortiz will get stopped by Tszyu who is an extremely smart fighter. Tszyu lost to Fundora only because of the cut and absolutely dominated Fundora before the cut.

As an Australian Aussies are underestimating Vergil he is a beast I have watched every fight he has had and he is different. Fundora isn't that good he's sloppy and just awkward. Vergil is a different ball game. This is by far the hardest opponent Tim has faced by a mile. Vergil is faster has more power better skills and is just better everywhere than anyone has faced don't underestimate him he's different. Only concern is his health and ring rust on talent as a boxer though whilst no fighter is perfect he doesn't really have big weaknesses he does everything good he's got good solid footwork fast hard to hit with a good highguard powerful accurate can fight all styles he's at least hard fight for anyone at 154 or even 160.

Tszyu won't even get to round 1, Ortiz will knock him out at the weigh-in! Dulorme was extremely lucky to be knocked out in the ring.

As an Aussie ill surprise people by saying only worry i have for Vergil is his health and activity if thats in check i think he will stop him either way i am picking him but thats my concerns nothing skill or talent based at all. I have watched every Vergil fight and a lot of Tim whos fought two guys i know both actually went he distance. But what I see in Tim is he holds his hands wide and isnt hard to hit down the pipe. Vergil is fast and that jab is so sharp and hes very hard to hit clean. Ortiz went his first 5 pro fights without getting hit with a jab he has a great highguard. I just think Vergils jab and right hand will land from early on.I see him Beggining to break him down by the 4th or 5th and from there Tim will open up and will have to try and up the output to keep up and i think Vergil will pick him off well to the body i think he will end it around the 8th or 9th. Nothing against Tim i just dont see him having the speed and defence to keep Vergil off of hi.. Hes got reasonable power but Vergil has better power but i think the bigger thing is I see Vergil having the ability to land cleaner sharper faster shots and having the defence to not get hit back. Where he can counter a bit and mix it up to win.

Tszyu has no Jab and he can’t throw any combination at all. All he does is throw hooks the whole damn fight and he has no head movement and his footwork is sloppy that’s why he comes forward 24/7 he can’t fight off of his back foot, the guy is not elite at all he’s just tough and has powers it’s just facts. Ortiz is going to give Tszyu his 2nd L and it’s going to be even worse then what Fundora did because Ortiz is better boxer than Fundora it’s going to be a long night for Tszyu.

Fendora, made some adjustments and beat Tim up. Tim and his team made zero adjustments and got a beating and exposed.
