I remember my friend and I writing to Tim in 1993 as school boys. He took time and care to write back to us in some detail, answering our questions. What a great chap. Thank you Tim.
Absolutely brilliant pod cast,really enjoyed.
Words of wisdom at the end ❤ a fantastic podcast there's never enough time to talk to such interesting people 👍
Absolutely fantastic . Clearly Rich knew his subject
Best one so far
One of the most inspirational Carp anglers ever. Keep on keeping on Tim
Great podcast
Great pod cast I'm pretty certain I met Tim on roman lakes about 1990 ish possibly earlier maybe late 80s I was a pleasure angler and he was one of the first carp anglers I saw fishing under a 60 in oval type brolly I either asked for some maggots or offered my left over bait he said he fished with boillies and I asked what boillies were and he shown and explained to me
Top man, one of the flag bearers of carp angling as it evolved during the 70’s and 80’s. He will always have my respect.
Tim’s writing especially in the early Carpworld magazines hooked me into Carp fishing, I met Tim at a Carp show, absolute gentlemen. One of greats of Carp fishing.

Fantastic podcast with Tim I'm old enough to remember the times Tim talks about, normally I get bored with long podcasts not this one could have listened for a lot longer. Thanks ,
What a legend, much respect! We did the week on Birch Grove after Tim, 18th - 25th, so gutted we didn't get to meet him.
Tim is carp fishing to the core and probably the godfather of carp angling.long may he carry on god bless
Legend 👌🏻👌🏻
The Boss of all carp fishing what a lovely gentleman ❤. Got loads of videos he as done and book's plus magazine. Some that inspired me as young lad when I started carp fishing in the late 80s early 90s ❤
Probably the best podcast I’ve listened too Well done that was brilliant and so was Tim and big rich 👏🏻👏🏻
Brilliant podcast. So glad Tim's still active, seems like he has stopped ageing!
Awesome interview, inspirational angler, can highly recommend Tim's books. Well done again Rich. And Korda team.
Absolutely brilliant....top podcast
Great interview chaps. Love Tim, absolute giant of carp fishing!
Great watch. Proper stories from when you would drive half way up or down the country just to catch a 30lber.
What a great pod & an inspirational knowledgeable legend of a carp angler !
need another one with tim i feel that only scratched the surface
An excellent pod cast and what a lovely man Tim is.
ABSOLUTE CLASS
One of the giants in the carp scene! And a brilliant writer at that!
best interview from rich so far IMO - great questions & conversation. am sure there are plenty of us that used to savor those leader pieces in carpworld whilst he was editing. hugely influential to me so listening to this was an absolute joy. what was the story behind the white wafters at gigantica?
I’m surprised Tim never mentioned John Baker! John Baker had a big influence in some of Hutches baits.
Legend 🎉😊🎉😊
Tim great podcast

Amino acids are not insoluble, some are hydrophobic but most will dissolve readily in water. Even the hydrophobic ones are still detectable in water given how they will be presented.

💡; maybe could start to think about bringing on some anglers you found on instagram or Facebook that maybe not be in the social media eye? Just an idea
This felt like a 2 hour zoom meeting with Malcolm from Health & Safety!
What people forget is these guys were there in their time. Would they have been there today with the internet?
