This is refreshing, I’m an immigrant to the US when I was 16, I’m 21 now and the huge difference in what men are pushed to be is a huge surprise to me. And my dad is exactly like you describe, a farmer, and a special forces man who has this duality of being an absolute unit, but his family never sees it, but knows it’s there, and I want that duality. Feeling like I SHOULD be non violent, not because I can’t, but because I’m capable and made a choice. I just got my citizenship and joining the military in 6 months to try to awaken that competitive, aggressive and primal part of myself that society doesn’t allow me to be. Your videos are a great help

Tim and I chose similar paths in life. I’m no longer in group or the military. I’m a cop now and I was speaking to other officers the other day about the importance of being a dangerous person and being in control of that. Being a good man is being dangerous and knowing when it’s time to be dangerous. Being a good man is recognizing failure, acceptance of that failure and learning then growing from that failure. Life is about valleys, hills and mountain tops and you will never appreciate one without the other. “De Oppresso Liber”

As did I, in fact many in the martial arts community joke that I was "first draft" before Tim, LOL. I am 57 and just hung up my Special Agent LEO body armor after 30 years and beat throat cancer (never smoked, vapid or chewed). As to Jack Jack's question is it a step down, not at all. You are still a Sheepdog and if you spend a bulk of your career on a tactical team, like I chose, you will find a very similar (although not as fiercely loyal) community.

The words in this video belong in basic training and in a book! These are so true and honest pieces of advice. I remember how hard it was going through ranger school and then on to Q course. I was discharged in 2002 after receiving my second purple heart. And it hurt to be let go. But if people would listen to the advice given in this video, it will make you so much stronger and a better person! I never had a d.i. cadre or any officer give half of good of advice as what is spoken in this video. Listening to this gave me back that fire I need to get through everyday with the ptsd and mental bs of what we went through. But it was WORTH IT! God bless all my vetren and active brothers fighting the good fight! And thank you for making this video. You put fresh air back into a broken down old msgt. There could be a 4th sf at bragg but it's not anything we've heard of. I'm not going to say hes not legit but all I can say is if he's making this stuff up its shameful. Complete stolen, uncool. Going through the fire is not suffering. The suffering is the people that love the person going through the fire. They are powerless. Their task is much more deep. I never realized when I was deployed to Vietnam what my mother went through until my son deployed as a Ranger to both Iraq and Afghanistan. My Mother went through my Father going through WWII, me with Vietnam , then her grandson. Now Im 73 and going through treatment for cancer since 2015. I still workout as much as I can. When I first got sick I was doing 40 reps with 440 on leg presses and weighed 230. Now I do 160 12 reps and weigh 170. Its a balancing act. Chemo prevents cancer cells from growing, same with muscle. So you have to be careful to not overtrain, but if you don't train you loose weight fast. I don't fight cancer, I leave that to my Docs. I show up and try to answer their questions as honestly as I can. But being can do and suck it up can get you killed in chemo. I would tell my doc I could do another cycle and my wife blew up. She let the cat out of the bag that I couldn't walk 20 feet without looking like I ran a marathon. So my doc gave me a break and changed meds. I am now up from 158 to 170. That took a while. But the journey is different because of what Tim talks about having that guy to your left and to your right. You keep going forward. With our those beside you you can be fooled into thinking going forward regardless is the right thing to do. Im learning there is a balance to this cancer arena. My Infantry, SF and Aviation background is both a help and a burden. It's ok to not be the badass. Your doc can't make the right call if you don't have the word can't in your vocabulary. Your milage may vary.

I regulate my food intake, eating only actual food like beans, beef, oats, honey, coconut oil, salt, brown rice, organic bread, eggs. My knives are sharp. My gear is prepared, in place, loaded up and ready. I read and study the manuals and topics I need to know, and I watch the enemy positioning. Push will come to shove and like a boxing match - that bell is going to ring and when it does, if you are not ready you are going to get your butt handed to you in a bucket. Thanks for this video Tim! Spot on. I remember building bombs and how much effort we put into each weapon knowing that it was going to be dropped in hate. I have great satisfaction knowing that the bombs build by me and my crew during my deployments down range enabled a young Marine, Solider, or SF bro to return home to see his family again. All who walk the Spec Ops path have a deep sense of responsibility and are far more effective in ANY battle scenario. Creativity and their ethos make them, truly, the tip of the spear. Give me 100 operators who've gone through the CRT and I can take any ground, face any larger force and control the situation. To all who walk that path, I honor you dedicated few.

Brother I love to hear your Stories, I wasn’t in the Services but was a Fireman for 23 Years at a very Busy Department running many calls a Day, Unfortunately I have seen Death from the very Youngest to the Oldest. Still to this day I make Bed the very first thing when I get out of Bed, my Wife asked me one day and I explained to her the thing is when you start your day with that simple little task it always puts my mindset that my day will consist of Starting and Completing every Task I start. Also it starts my mind off that I completed something from the very start of my day. Tim I Honestly believe Sir that You are and will go on to do so many Great Things way past your Trainings, Business’s and Schools. I believe what ever you do which will be Great will Be a Part of Our Great American Love Story, I am not referring to your Wife I am Speaking on Your Greatness. P.S. No Sire I Don’t have a Man Crush I just know People.

Love you Tim Kennedy! I wont quit. Your feeling the life force and you are divinely protected. If you knew how many of the prayers of the faithful and righteousness pray specifically for our military and the good people that protect democracy..... Maybe really you do feel the prayers you havent fully put that into context that it was divine assistance. Tim, my prayer is that you will futher the light and knowledge that you have been given to be enhanced unto the limitlessness of your spirit that is with in you. Our flag, our cause is one of divine appointment. I too, am another type of warrior on the home front who is anointed to fight the battles of addiction, alcoholism, and temptations of all kind. You have been gifted in the literal art of war. You are protected because your love for God (as you understand Him), family, and country that permeates through and shines brightly in all your countenances. I know you know what I am talking about. What your doing is so passionate and resognates so strongly, your actions speak so loudly we cannot hear what you are saying. I know hurt and pain, but in different ways of staying clean and sober for almost 13 years. I almost died of alcholism. After time and time again of going to jail and burning my hand on the proverbial stove....... I have dedicated my life to Jesus Christ. The Lord has a plan even for even a stubborn Ranger qualified Green Beret. Brother, you are on your mission now, and you have not even seen your best work. None of us have because the best days are ahead of us. As you said to we must continue to go through the refiners fire, again, again, and again, as we transform and our nature's are changed through Christ's power. “For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, “Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, “That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; “That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, “May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; “And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God” (Ephesians 3:14-19). Patience with the process “Ye are little children and ye cannot bear all things now; ye must grow in grace and in the knowledge of the truth. “Fear not, little children, for you are mine, and I have overcome the world, … “And none of them that my Father hath given me shall be lost” (D&C 50:40-42). One of the best descriptions of this process can be found in these words of President Ezra Taft Benson: “The Lord works from the inside out. The world works from the outside in. The world would take people out of the slums. Christ takes the slums out of people, and then they take themselves out of the slums. The world would mold men by changing their environment. Christ changes men, who then change their environment. The world would shape human behavior, but Christ can change human nature. … “May we be convinced that Jesus is the Christ, choose to follow Him, be changed for Him, captained by Him, consumed in Him, and born again” (in Conference Report, Oct. 1985, 5-6; or Ensign, Nov. 1985, 6-7). On behalf of Tim Kennedy, his family , all the special forces community, and all the rest of the veterans, please feel our love for you and for your families to protect this great nation upon its ancient history that was for-ordained before the world was. That is why most if the world cannot explain something's happening to them within that they cannot put a finger on just yet. I bear my full witness and can testify of the truthfulness of the restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ on the American continent. That is why the Declaration of Independence was for- ordained on this continent and no where else. That is why we are free to worship and our faith increases and enhances our resolve. Tim you know deep down in your soul you feel what I'm saying. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Saints and I believe and I am a fierce patriot as well. Thank you for helping all of us prepare more confidently and enthusiastially about " This freedom thing, (deep pause) once you get a taste of it, its a drink you can't get enough of" - Tim Kennedy. Don't put a limiting belief (or a spiritual cap) on what you may think you know about the mysteries of the universe or of God. Jesus says "come, follow me". Take up His cross and have faith to believe Him and in Him, and he will take you to transcendence and past it into the eternities with things our human frame cannot fathom. 🌞🌝🌚🌑🌒🌓🌔🌕🌖🌗🌘🌜🌛🌙🌍🌎🌏🌌🌠⭐☀⛅ P.S if you have questions the missionaries can help. Via con Dios mi hermano Paz
