I joined the navy after high school. Didn't make the rank I wanted but I did my duty with honor and conviction. I proved that someone with high functioning autism can defy convention and aspire to greater. I left the navy with a greater definition of what's possible

Anything and everything is possible as long as you try and dont worry about rank i am currently a cadet airman (through AFJROTC) and it means nothing but a status. The best part of the military or military related is knowing that you are a part of something, this year i have done around 3 or 4 fundraisers with my school and the best part was helping people.

@@tacticalstufflast9211 it'll take a while to be marsoc, it's not an mos you get before bootcamp, you'll be in for at least two years before you can go through the selection process, gl the path is very hard and I had a sgt try twice and failed

This hits hard as i went to join the army but let everyone knock me down saying i couldnt do it and it killed my motivation but after 3 years of feeling sorry for myself and working harder than ever to make myself better, i applied again and i passed! Never been more happier in my life! Fight for what you want and dont give in!

Hey kid, I'm in the french military, and all my life i wanted to be a soldier, m'y family didn't want to, they did not believe in me, but i fought for it, it was a lot of pain, but i'm now an infantry soldier, and i poursuit m'y dream to be in the special forces, and one day i'll make it So, never let people say you're not able to do it, believe only in yourself and in your dreams, and fight as hard as you can to proove your friends they were wrong But one thing, being in the military doesn't make you a hero, you can only find a hero in graveyards, being a fighter is enough

I was never even supposed to be born alive I was born almost 3 months early almost died had asthma flat feet and learning disability was not supposed to join the army but I joined anyway did 9 years 2 tours was supposed to be dead on 6 different occasions lost everything after each deployment came home to nothing including my child being taken away from me but I never gave up I have perservered was told I would never be able to go to college took my entrance exam after being out of high school for 20 years never making it past basic math and barely passing it not being able to read till highschool I scored higher than kids fresh out of high school and started in advanced English algebra 2 plus I'm in college I also scored 96 on my asvab never f#$@&ng quit never let anyone tell you you can't accomplish something

No one wants to stick with it until the hurdle's over with and will never have to come back to it again. The military gave me that much, 4 years might sound short, but depending on what you do during those years, you'll age well beyond those years in terms of experience and knowing your limits. I have a heart condition and bipolar. Since I was 8, I wanted to be a Marine more than anything. I tried joining every branch at least twice but I tried the Corps six. I was told I couldn't be a soldier. So I will be better than a soldier. Even the gods couldn't dig deep enough to bury me.

I had a teacher tell me I was illiterate,when I was above average in reading. I just struggled with math equations. It affected me for many years ! This right here tho!! I’m 40 and finally going for my dream!!!! #bluelivesmatter

Going for the British army. My family barely support it. I get told I won’t get there or I will get killed a lot. I stopped listening. Got to work on improving my mindset and fitness. Now I’m looking at becoming a paratrooper and possibly sf. People will tell you follow your dreams they will come true. U don’t think anything of it until u get to a point where you realize you can do something if you try. Giving up is never the option.

These are so good. I'm recovering from a surgery and training for SF, this stuff keeps me focused and hungry.

Get losers out of your life is the biggest step you gotta do before you can change once your alone you realize who you are and you become the monster to conquer. My dream was to be infantryman I was but as soon as I earned the title it was soon taken away. That was my only goal in life. Try to go back several times and being denied. Realizing you cannot finish what you started. Put me in a bad state of mind. I fought out of it. Took me almost 5 years. I was battling my mind everyday. I refused to get help cause I knew I could get over it by time. I don’t have a big goal rn but I have small goals. No matter what BS you go through you gotta keep fighting.

I've watched your video before, at a time when I was a young boy making a KZread account. I am pursing a career in the military, and I feel highly motivated by this video my father always say "to achieve a dream or to accomplish a goal you got to take baby steps"

I'm a 68w/74d on the road to starting my own company out of sc. I listen to this more than I would like to admit......(aspergers/adhd) what my childhood dr said but I found a Dr. who showed me that was just an excuse so adults could dope me up cause they couldn't "control me" and make me do what they want not what I want without him I wouldn't be where I am today.

I was raised in a dangerous cult... the culture shock of going from that to the military was tough... but it made me, not a good man, not a mildly successful man it turned me into a GREAT MAN, and I'd do it all over in a heartbeat! I leave in six months to enlist in the Army to start my journey on becoming the first Green Beret and Delta Force Operator with tourettes. Every day I get reminded by others that it's a stupid dream, no ones been able to do it before, that it's impossible. Even with tourettes, ADHD, a bit of autism, and other "disabilities", I know I can shake up this world and show and inspire millions upon billions of people that what you are doesn't limit you to what you can become.

I'm going into the Army this year I'm so exited I'm acting on my dream I love it I'm 196LBS I got this I know I can do this any day every day all day & yes I have the pain of leavening my wife & kids to do my duty but I know in the end when I which I will come I know all live a long long life thank God for my greatness for my strength i fought all my life & I will always fight for you my brothers & sister black purple or orange i got you I do this for you to protect to server to live its not over till I win Amen i walk in the light always .

I asked God to make me strong, not physically but mentally, at this point in time he is making me stronger, he is showing me that no matter how hard it gets it'll get better, people get cheated on and kill themselves over it, I've been used and abused in relationships and I'm living in a toxic household, I don't care. I don't want to change the way I am nor the path I'm on, I wake up under a roof, food in the fridge and with family that loves me, I will keep going till I reach the top with friends and family at my side showing them that what they helped me though was worth all the pain and trouble, I will show them that it doesn't matter if you fail you can keep going and keep showing that whatever you put yourself to, you can do it, don't listen to self doubt, don't listen to the people who say "you can't do it" because ik damn well you can and you will

This really hits close to home. I went from being treated like a mentally stupid person, stock for bullying, told I would never graduate high school, to graduating high school with Academic Honors, to going to a Military Academy, and now qualifying to ultimately serve in the U.S. Army.

I needed this I leave to basic in October! Army 😊

~The only easy day, was yesterday~ We, as human being are our own worst enemies. I have A.D.D, I was told I wouldn't amount to anything, even by my own parents, BUT, that royally pissed me off, and I was bound and determined that "I CAN", and God Damnit, I did. I enlisted, I failed the Asvab twice, I studied my ass off, My recruiter even helped me. 3rd time I passed, I went to basic, and I met every challenge head on, I didn't stop, I didn't quit, I cried, but I fought, and fought, and fought. I made my dream come true, and so can everyone else..... ALWAYS STAY IN THE FIGHT!!!!!

When I am the right age I am going to try and join the parachute regiment of the British military. This video has helped me a lot in telling myself I will be able to join..thank u

I join the Marine Corps right after high school best decision in of my life, after boot camp I realized I found my purpose and that no matter what no matter how tough I will never give up, even if I'm dying. All that matters to me is my family and those I sever with. "One team one fight".
