Tim Ferriss: Tools of Titans

Tim Ferriss, Entrepreneur; Public Speaker; Author, Tools of Titans: The Tactics, Routines, and Habits of Billionaires, Icons, and World-Class Performers
Naval Ravikant, CEO and Co-Founder, AngelList-Moderator
Whether you’re a millionaire-in-the-making or just trying to check off your to-do list every single day, you’re always on the hunt for how to do your best, but where do you even start? Enter Tim Ferris of Four-Hour Work Week, and his latest book Tools of Titans: The Tactics, Routines, and Habits of Billionaires, Icons, and World-Class Performers.
Just for you, Tim picked the brains of 200+ of the most creative, successful leaders from around the world to help you do better every day, including Brene Brown, Malcolm Gladwell, Jamie Foxx, Reid Hoffman, and dozens of others. He asked them actionable questions (What does the first hour of their day look like? What do their workout routines look like and why? What are the biggest time wastes they avoid?) so that you can apply their philosophies to your own life.
To quote Tim, who tried many of these tactics himself, “The lessons have made me millions of dollars and saved me years of wasted effort and frustration.” Come hear from Tim at INFORUM, and who knows-maybe you’ll end up featured in his next book!

HalfLucan It seems that way now because Bulletproof has taken off quite a bit. The recent big boom has indeed was caused by supplements on the store. That been said...Dave initiated Bulletproof by producing blogs and podcasts while selling his own coffee, and mostly promoting other people brands when needed. For the recent ramp up on producing supplements was due not finding a quality brands for them. The motive that caused him make his own coffee is QUALITY. Quality for the most part is behind creating the recent line of supplements or creating them when realizing that no one else is producing them. I want say this because...Dave promoted so many products which are not made by him. He might put out promotions for money or genuine appreciation of the supplement brand.

With the exception of the briefly listed "spithy" wizdoms, the rest of the conversation did not seem to contain much utility. The majority of the conversation seemed to be talking about how cool it is to be a worldly person who get's to learn often.

I like tim because he's smart and knows how to learn stuff fast, but people need to remember that he's human aswell. when people treat him like the mesiah, then you llook at what he says, then it doesn't look like useful information.
