4/22/24 I finally woke up to the fact that I'm a cannabis addict. Complete and utter SLAVE to it. Been lying (laying? I forget) on the sofa for the last SIX years, every day/all day, telling myself that I need this medicine - for my headaches, my depression, my anxiety. To sleep. To think clearly and creatively. Overcome all the trauma I've experienced. To be a "nicer" person - not so cranky. RIGHT! At one point I was spending $700 to $800 a month on it OUT OF MY SOCIAL SECURITY! Just three weeks and my maladies are leaving the building one by one and my bank balance is the same as it was 3 weeks ago. I was exacerbating my problems, not alleviating them! I'm late to your party AND you arrived just in the nick of time. Today was emotionally hideous and am loving every word of what you say and have ordered the book. I'm not anti-pot or decriminalization. If it works for you, FANTASTIC! But I AM an addict and it stopped working for me. Pray to never go back, one day at a time. Thank you so much for this.

BS, he said the US can sit back and build wall and worry about their own problem and not the world but then the world is always interested in engaging them...that's a lie. US has never mind their own business but was the biggest instigator and prop up problems all over the world.

5 states have populations of less than a million, i.e., way fewer than my medium-size central Florida metropolitan area. Yet each of those 5 rural states critically has 2 Senators. No wonder they suck up so much federal funding.

Us international politic is me, myself and I. If US representative would simply put themselves in the place of others power and leaders they would understand that they built this threat by themselves.

The first proof anyone would mention is that the US never respected the rules of laws themselves. Strangely, they expect others to not do the same in front of that behaviour.

Thankful that George Packer shared his contempt for “Just America.” It is ruining our country and Slaughter is too misguidedly empathetic to notice how destructive it is.

ya have to dread them finding a gene, physical frumps are too dangerous already without the key for psychic ability. The material sleepwalkers will want to fight a war against god when he doesn't comply with the war mongering madness and accept control devices. How many of us were murdered because we manifested psychic power from other nations, or because we cooperated to try and create joint magic readings

37:35 fareed couldn't be more right, trump only has an opening because republican voters hate republican politicans. Trump handily beats other republicans in primaries but can't win the popular vote versus a democrat to save his life.

“Mark my word, if and when these preachers get control of the [Republican] party, and they're sure trying to do so, it's going to be a terrible damn problem. Frankly, these people frighten me. Politics and governing demand compromise. But these Christians believe they are acting in the name of God, so they can't and won't compromise. I know, I've tried to deal with them.” Barry Goldwater These people are some of Trumps biggest supporters.

If you just take the data, you have to make an argument to explain why one SHOULDN'T make the connection. I'm all for balanced and healthy reporting, so let's cut the outright BS and inversions of basic facts, guys.

a funny moment at 20:00 . Khrushev gave back crimea to Ukraine :) crimea was never part of Ukraine before 1954. Ukraine and crimea were completely unrelated before that. Crimea could be “ given back” only to Crimean tatars, ottoman Turks, or Greeks :)

At 15:50 the speaker says that the US realized too late that their (Chinese, russian) hierarchy values are not the same as ours (American). I beg to disagree. I think in reality the US learned that this countries, just like the US, care about national security and serviceability of their nation above everything else. They are not economic agents, they are states. Just like America which will do everything for national security, including shutting down their democracy for a while if needed,

I remember her so well. A favorite on the tv game show series, but also knew, even as a young kid, that she had a background as a serious reporter/journalist. She was very famous to pretty much everytone. Fro some reason I had a feeling she was going to be killed or just die. I got a new callender each year at beginning of year in which, at the head of it in January I'd make a few predictions, including who would pass away that year famous people that is), and in 65 I wrote Dorothy Killgallen, the only name I jotted that year. Not that she was on my mind in particular as a favorite or anything, just a gut-level reaction. I may still have that page somewhere. It was truly a weird thing, but it has happened to me many times, these sort of "premonitions". Strange.

Assuming we know beauty and what it is not and if we agree; How do you know what it is known without the eyes to see it? for my eye of beauty could be not the same as yours. beauty could be anything that I say is beautiful. And maybe I’ll allow you see or maybe not. Only time will tell…. And if you do think you finally see beauty, would you be honest to me about this beauty because I’ll know for a fact if you see it for yourself.
