My two Tilleys (yes, I bought two, thanks to deep discounts from a "sweet" app) arrived today, so I'm anxious to give the LTM5 a try tomorrow. The TMH55 reminds me of a state trooper's Stetson hat (that's not a bad thing) and is slightly larger for when my hair gets too long 😂. I've been watching several Tilley-related videos, but yours told me everything I needed to know. Give those pups a Tilley, too!

Hi, Nice video thanks. Can I ask you: if it rains heavy were you able to pull the jacket hood over the hat? Does the hat fit inside or how did you manage? Best, James

Hi, James. That's a great question. I haven't tried it yet. So far I've only worn the Tilley in light rain and I don't use the hood. And the hat performed well in light rain- better than I expected. For heavier rain, I usually wear a baseball type hat made of waxed cotton and use that with the hood of my rain jacket. I would suspect the brim of the Tilley LTM6 is a little too wide to wear with most hoods.
You mentions its olive color but doesn't quite look like full olive, they make a khaki/olive one, is this the one you have?
