A lot of people want you to "pick a side", either lesbian or straight, so for a while I thought I had to pick one or else I wasn't valid. I also felt like I was lying to myself, since I had just ended a pretty toxic relationship with an older women, so for a while I convinced myself that I was feeling attraction towards a guy in my college class just because I was disappointed because of my last wlw relationship. But thankfully I made friends with some older bi people (I only found out I actually liked guys too when I was around 20/21) and they helped me to understand that it was ok to like both sides and to allow myself to be truthful to what I am. But to this day, and I'm 30 already, I have people that won't believe me because I "look too much like a lesbian", whatever that means. And I think that not knowing that I liked men during my teenage years kinda took some experiences away from me, nowadays I'm very scared to get up to a guy I'm attracted to, I feel kinda lost on what to do while with women is way easier to engage.

it would definitely be better but, I'm 28 and dating anyone 22 or younger would feel soooo predatory to me. 23 is MAYBE my cut off but anyone over 25 knows your brain fully develops at 25 and dating anyone younger, you're at risk of taking advantage of them

Tbh even _if_ they had just gotten together I would still believe he's taking advantage of her based on her background. She's young and was made to feel as if her sexuality was wrong by the people that should be supporting her the most. That makes her extremely vulnerable!

Even that creeps me tf out honestly. As a 27 year old, 23 is the absolute youngest I would consider dating. 1) In my opinion, 18-21 still look like children and 23yo often tow the line a little too close for comfort. I guess maybe you could argue that's just personal preference, but I'd be suspicious of anyone who tried to make that argument. 2) Probably more importantly, 23 is the youngest age where we are still in a similar stage of life, any younger and we simply don't have much in common. Idk how'd you'd build a meaningful relationship out of that Now extend that to a 51yo. 1) Them being attracted to someone 28yrs younger is.... I'll say, starting to look concerning. But them wanting to/actually having sex with that person is extremely concerning. 2) I can't see any world where they have a single thing in common. And due to the power dynamic inherent in an age gap, the relationship HAS to function more like a parent/child situation rather than a peer/peer relationship Yes the 23yo is old enough to make their own decisions, but I will never not be extremely suspicious of the 51yo. And grooming is always a valid concern in these types of relationships

Im a dude who agrees that that type of male photographer is a creep. I worked at a video store back in the day and one of our customers was one of these types, he asked one of my coworkers to do a photo shoot for a local magazine he works for and half way throguh the shoot he told her to start taking her clothes off, she left immediately. He came in one time after that and started to talk crap about her so I immediately shut him down and banned him from our store. He tried to call our district manager on me and when my DM called me to ask about what happened i explained how he sexually harassed one of our employees, so at that point it was over for him, his rental accounts were closed and he was banned from having an account with the company.
