My grandfather was graped by a neighbor when he was 15, and it ruined his life, and our family is torn apart by it, to this day! It makes me SO angry that this woman did this to a child. A 15 year old cannot “ask for it,” no matter if they have a physical response to what is done to them or not. The body is made to reproduce, and the body doesn’t know if there is not consent. I’m so mad that boys have been lied to about this, by predators with selfish motivations. They have a right to choose who they have their first intimate experience with, and when they are ready, just like women do. What happened to my grandpa hurt and traumatized him so much, he started drinking, to bury his feelings. He lived the rest of his life addicted to alcohol, and my family was poor and had an emotionally distant father. My mom was one of the closest to him, and she still doesn’t know how to express feelings, to this day. My grandpa had a lot of rage at women, and was abusive to my grandma, sometimes. He, finally, went to therapy, and he said it all started with the sexual abuse he went through. He would block out his feelings, by drinking until he didn’t know what he was doing. He didn’t trust women, and didn’t know how to tell them how he really felt, so he would hold things in until he got angry. I don’t think a 15-year-old is ever “ready” for a sexual relationship with an adult. I think this woman must have messed with this man’s mind, when he was too young to know any different. I really hope their child doesn’t go through what my family went through, and I also hope this young man gets therapy, to make sure he’s acting in accordance with his deepest self. Prayers for them both! The father and the child, I mean. Just like Villi Fulauu (sp?) did, it’s OK to leave, if you realize you never had a choice.

Unpopular opinion: I feel like old people having children is lowkey selfish as fuck. My dad had me at age 40, which I don’t blame him for because his first wife didn’t want children. But all my life I grew up with the constant fear of losing him. People don’t talk about how traumatic it is to see death as an always around the corner type of thing during childhood. But doing it at her age willingly when she ALREADY HAS A CHILD is so selfish. That kid will go thru most of their life without their mom and they didn’t ask to be here for that. 😓 EDIT: I guess the “death is around the corner” feeling isn’t normal for kids with older parents and I just had a traumatic childhood lol. you feel so, so deeply at his age. relationships are ride or die. i remember thinking my middle school boyfriend was going to be the man at my wedding. he has so much life to live and it hurts to see him a victim. when you’re groomed, it becomes right to you. i was groomed as a 10 year old by a 17 year old and sometimes to this day i think “well, maybe i was in the wrong” when i was literally 10. it seeps into you and no matter how many people try to pull you away you keep going back. i hope he gets a wakeup call or some intervention and can find the right person for himself and his kid. and oh my god hes so sweet. he looks like the perfect man. this is so sad

I suspect she may have had a history with substance abuse, I have many family members around her age that have struggled with addiction and they all look sooo much older then their siblings that didn’t have substance issues. I feel like this is wrong even if you take them meeting when he was 15 out of the equation. She is a very rough looking early 60s, I don't think it's reasonable to bank on her living even long enough to see this baby into adulthood. And even if she's alive how can she possibly have the energy to take care of a child?! She is basically making this guy a future single father and the child will likely lose their mom at a really young age and that's just unfair. What's worse is I really think the motivation to have a baby was haters telling him she couldn't bear children, like they just had to prove that they could have a baby together out of spite and for social media attention.
