    It's major culture shock as an American. If I tried any of his "pranks" where I live in, getting my ass kicked would be the best outcome I could hope for, and then I'd be thrown in prison anyways. Not that having to assume that everyone is armed and a heavy handed justice system is a good thing, but it's definitely different than in the UK...

    I'm English, grew up in the London suburbs, and lived in zone 2 and worked in central London for years. I have no idea what hes saying most of the time. I'm pretty confident that along with the rest of the UK, we do not claim this individual. Lots of us knew a kid like him at school - nobody really liked them.

    14 years ago we had a string of car break ins on my street. Real predictable, each night they would just go a little further down the street. I knew my house was coming up so I waited. She never even saw me coming. Her face was spread across the street. The cops took my statement, shook my hand then left once they got the body. 14 years later, and not one break in has happened in the neighborhood. God bless Texas

    I mean my idea of a prank was when I was fifteen, and when talking to my mum while she was doing something else, and every time she looked around, I had a different colour jumper on. It was a bit silly, and she took a minute to cotton on that she wasn't misremembering. That to me was a prank.

    I live in the UK and heard a lot of the interviews he gave after the arrests. I think he's clearly received bad (or no) guidance in life, and our more local media outlets were doing their best to encourage him onto a better path through the conversations they were having with him. Hearing he's back in education and looking to change how he engages with social media is so encouraging, as it seems the right voices did start getting through to him. Genuinely wish him all the best on this more positive life path, and to his family too.
