It is kind of an injustice breeding show Tibetan Mastiffs all together... the aboriginal Tibetan mastiffs were incredibly athletic and had large life expectancies. These show ones have many health problems, and many have trouble even moving, they live short and unhappy lives D:

When mom was stationed in India at the United States Embassy, she placed me in a Monastery in Nepal up in the mountains with Bpuddhist Monks who never spoke due to their vows of silence. So the Monks gave me a Tibetan Masstiff puppy. I named him Krone. They don't have longevity. But he was with me for seven years. The night he died he took my T- Shirt to my bed and held it in his mouth as he snuggled up under my left armpit. Around 5AM I woke up and he was gone. Dad buried him in our backyard under a Mango tree. He was extremely loyal and protective to and of me. Ever since then I have always had Tibetan Masstiff and Caucasian Shepherd. Best dogs ever.

There are not food/water bowls. & you can tell there is genuinely not enough room 4 him in there. Surely to goodness that's not his home. Something tells me he's more of a free-range guard dog.. why would they keep him in that tiny box. I pray that's the case anyways!

Hes ok,the ground he is standing on is very clean,his coat is in great condition you can tell hes looked after.

Don't worry people he's kept nice you can tell. Good fur, healthy face and no grass damage inside the cage so not been kept in there.

He's actually still a puppy. That dog is about 10 months old. They pen them to show them how to stay stationary and guard. When he reaches adulthood, they'll let him roam freely. My sister has one.

As the guy above says it can leave whenever it wants if it's not tied up. You can tell the other end is open faced. Obviously someone was coming to the house and dog needed to be secured for the greeting. Lol you can see how excited the animal is as if someone is approaching.

A Tibetan Mastiff is not a freak! It is a recognized kennel club breed that's hundreds of years old. It's so big because it was bred to protect livestock from dangerous predators in the high mountains.

It appears that the reason to show the Mastiffs height and size standing up required putting him in that small fenced enclosure was for just that reason. Taking a picture video to really show the height, body size and head required that the Mastiff stand on hind legs to show off his true size. BEAUTIFUL CREATURE!! To those who think it’s cruel to cage that dog, let’s point out that the dog appears healthy, happy, and VERY well fed. I’m gonna guess they keep him there temporarily because they need to do chores and can’t have him in the way. Can you imagine trying to get shit done while you have this massive, prehistoric type animal following you around?

You are right. This was just a temporary holding spot. It had no roof, no form of covering against the elements. This big dog stays mostly inside the house. He probably has it's own bed and stuff. Look how clean and healthy the dog looked, well fed too. Does anyone notice how clean in that cage looked. If that was where the dog was kept it would have looked a little messy. Dogs are generally messy😊

On voit bien à son apparence qu'ils ne vit pas dans ce petit enclos. Ils l'ont mis dans ce petit chenil sûrement pour quelques minutes, le temps do faire cette vidéo.

He barked, " Let me out!!!" He's probably just in there to stand for the pics and videos. Some ppl will be cruel to other ppl, but not to animals ❤ You can tell, he's not use to being in there.
