Thurman did good work on Guerrero.I was at the Garcia vs Thurman fight in LA.Guerrero fought much better that night. I have to say that Guerrero has taken alot of punishment in his past few fights. He got hit a lot by Mayweather, that asian guy, Thurman, Martinez and Garcia. Maybe its time to hang them up for Guerrero because the damage from all these blows will show up in 10 years from now when he wont be making prize money.

Keith Thurman crashed that right hand on Robert Guerrero mercilessly, and he launched it ferociously with a lot of leverage -- that's something nice to see. But for the most part, he was relatively easy going in this fight, and he picked off the opponent with one punch at a time, just steadily cruising. He approached with caution and moved laterally, he poked out the left jab to tease Robert Guerrero and when he got in position, he unleashed big combinations with the right and the left hands. Keith Thurman had a great rhythm overall- In close quarters, he ripped his opponent with the right hand, then danced away and blasted him again with a left, then immediately stepped away to safety; Those were stunts he pulled regularly. He was able to get in shots without Robert Guerrero getting an opportunity to retaliate. He had moderate speed and power, with great coordination-- and that right hand was an absolute nightmare for Robert Guerrero. Keith Thurman will be a huge threat to anyone in the Welterweight division, win or lose against Danny Garcia.

My hat goes off to both fighters! No one knows how great a shape a fighter has to be in to go 12 rounds or less! It's take a huge set of wind pipes to take all those punches and still be able to breath. So, to all fighters I say "thanks for staying in the shape we couch fighters only wish we could!".

Robert seems like the type of fighter who gives the fans what they want. Meanwhile putting his health at risk. In retrospect, this fight should've ended at the very end of the 9th round. Guerrero was cornered, hurt and getting beat on badly. Thurman was throwing bombs at him and most of them landed! The following rounds were definitely entertaining though, and Robert even gained some momentum in the 10th rounding somehow.

Jose Crespo Jr You Garcia Stanboys are delusional. 1. KEITH ran through Guerrero. 2. DANNY struggled with Guerrero's nonstop pressure, and ran and clinched most of the fight. GUERRERO hurt Danny in the 4th round of their fight fight and would've scored a KD if the bottom ropes didn't hold him up. Danny doesn't fight well off the back foot. Thurman does (see Thurman/Porter). Garcia also doesn't cut the ring off well (see Peterson/Garcia). How did Thurman struggle, but Garcia dominated, when Thurman KD'd Guerrero, while Danny couldn't even come close to doing so (and almost got knocked down, himself)? 😂😂😂😂

Even at 40 years old I think Pacquiao can beat Thurman. Nobody Thurman has ever faced has been as fast and athletic as Pacquiao. So despite his height, reach, weight, and age advantages I think Manny can beat him.

Watch this fight and then watch Mayweather / Guerrero.. Granted, Floyd and Guerrero were a couple years younger, but there is no comparison between Floyd's speed and timing and Thurmans... Keith is a dangerous oponent for anybody because he has snap, but outside that....Floyd schools him.. Thurman don't have the speed to contend with Mayweather, even at 38 years old... watch how Floyd deals with Guerrero when his back is against the ropes, compared to Thurman... I'm telling you man, Keith is a good fighter but he is nowhere near Mayweather quality.

Guerrero's father had the nerve to claim Guerrero's punch caused the knot on Thurman's head. The replay showed it was clearly a head but. What an idiot. Comparing performances, Garcia's fight was closer with Guerrero and Robert actually hurt him, in the first 20 seconds of the fourth round, Garcia was hurt but he regained composure. He never scored a knockdown either even with his left hooks landing. I think Thurman vs Garcia will be a competitive fight, that's not an easy fight for either guy

Orion Norwood That's a hypothetical that really isn't fair to Thurman because that fight won't happen. Thurman can only be judged on who he fights. That being said, I doubt he can beat Floyd, but I also doubt that he would place forth a D+ effort. As much as I love Floyd, I'll be happy when he hangs up the gloves to allow 147 to sort itself out.

I like that thurman stood there to exchange with guerrero for a lil bit in the last few rounds just to give a lil fun.

garcia can time and ko thurman or atleast hurt him and keep him wary throughout and win..thurman is a super slow version of khan but but great power. Danny has a chin and half and donaire type of left counter and general counter and timing abilities

Watching this fight again, and watching Errol Spence, it seems clear to me that with another 2 fights, Spence can take thurman. I like Thurman a lot too, but he comes in with his hands down and head up, and Errol is too polished to allow him to get away with that. I hope Thurman won, but I've got a call it like I see it.

My dad said Thurman was average... NA this the first time I seen him that boi really do got sum.... Guerrero too man this impressive

Thurman has a ton of talent but he's still young. He makes a lot of fundamental mistakes against lesser opponents. Sometimes he has lapses where he fights down to the level of his opposition. I like him as a fighter though. I hope his management doesn't bring him up too fast. I'd like to see him fight Khan or Porter.

Hollis2Hollywood iv'e said the same thing about thurman for a while now i agree with you 100% the fundamental mistakes will kill you against a fighter of floyd mayweathers caliber.i dont think manny pacquiao or floyd mayweather have alot left in them in terms of desire to fight.i dont know about putting thurman in there with porter or khan just yet.i think they all need about 2 more fights before they start looking to each other...clear out some of the older guard.. guys like juan manuel marquez,tim bradley,marcos maidana
