Josh you guys built a hell of a engine considering it’s had 250+ more horses thrown out of it over the 600bhp “package” limit. I have no doubt the new heart in the teg will blow us away just like this version has done. Massive respect for the way you’ve built this.

It's easy to say in hindsight, but the engine did try to warn you. It's always the "One more go" that does it. The throttle sticking at 150+mph must been scary as heck, good on you for quick thinking.

Of all your cars, this is by far my favorite. I loved seeing the logical progression. Everytime you've reached a limit, you surpassed it like a DBZ Saiyan! FWD doesn't grip? Stick AWD in it. Gear changes too slow? Stick a sequential in it. It squats too hard? Stick a better rear suspension in it. Engine blows up? Stick a better engine in it. It's so awesome man! Looking forward to you smashing the leaderboards! You gotta race Affi with the better block, push the competition, and let's see what he does about it!

I'd say that's deffo head gasket you can see your coolant running down the bonnet when you lifted it. Sorry to see it happen but it stood up well considering. Awesome video as always Jamie, much love bro 🙏🏻

Internet mechanic of me says split liner . Head gasket has been my issues too. Ive got some solid copper gaskets made if you want to try one mixed with stainless oring and reciver groove

@@jimibobbb 5 or 6 speed? Im guessing at the very top of your last gear? Tuned k20a's and k24a's with 3 lobe vtec have top speed of around 150-155 usually. Depends on the transmission and FD you are running.. Im topping out at 158 at the top of 4th right now, but im boosted and running PPG gear-set with 4.0FD

I see so many so called ‘tuners’ going for peak figures (pub numbers) rather than reliability. I used to run at 11.5 AFR and I never had an issue, even at 200+ mph.

I believe it was a head gasket failure, I'd suggest o ring the head with L19 ARP head studs and optimize tune

Built for 6, running at 9 lol. That engine has done you proud. Not nice to see it go bang but it does mean you can get straight onto the next level of the build so its a win for the subscribers. This is probably my favourite car of all time right now. I'm very much a bmw fan boy but the progression videos and seeing the performace times are absolutely incredible to follow along with. The best youtuber, the best car, the best content and more insanity to follow. Honoured.
