Thrifting vintage cameras in France
Hello there! Thank you so much for stopping by. My name is Els and I'm a Belgian photographer living in France. In this video my (French) boyfriend and I take you along while we go thrifting for vintage cameras in a vide grenier (some sort of giant garage sale) in France.

Very much like an American seasonal outdoor flea market. The fun is just being there! Old photographs of families long forgotten from 70-80 years ago can be bought for under a U.S. dollar. A time capsule for me.

@@elsvanopstal I saw a Canon Super 8 camera in one of your shots. A high end model of 50 years ago. There is a growing fan-base for early digital cameras. I have some, my brother gifted me others - the big problem is rechargeable batteries for them. Some only take much slower-writing CompactFlash or early SD cards.
