It warms my heart to see little ones play like that. What joy Timisa must have with a cute little cherub like Khanyisa. Now they have each other to grow old with, along with the rest of the herd. Babies must keep adults on their toes with this injection of fun too!

Timisa, being the youngest orphan before Khanyisa’s arrival, has been instrumental in keeping ‘our’ meisiekind’ playful side, which is very important for the younger ellies .

Sweetest thing you could ever see! The little sisters playing like kids in the sand box! So happy to see Baby sunshine so happy and included So important for her frame of mind help her get stronger each day!

I love to watch them run AFAP. FAST AS EVER THEY CAN 😋 chase each other or staff. Shake their head. Turn around and go again. *How can Lundi hv milk for Khanyisa? Did she lose her baby?

1) Bless you to whoever sneezed behind the camera (assuming it's Adine 😂). 2) I love the relationship between Khanyisa and Timisa - it's not only beautiful to see her form relationships with motherly figures to make her feel secure, but also to see her have a sister / playmate to have some fun with. I don't think I say it enough, but thank you for giving her this wonderful opportunity to live the life she deserves 🥰

It seems the older one is soo sensitive to Khanyisa. She keeps looking at you to make sure she is playing with Khanyisa correctly and not hurting her in the meantime. So sweet of Timisa!!!!!!!

Play rule #1- Must plant face in any available mud, dirt pile,hole or whoever is standing closest to you ( unless they are really grumpy).

Don't feel sorry or pity them, realize how blessed and amazing it is now they have a NEW FAMILY!!!!!! grieve for what they lost, but celebrate what they now have, and how unique and special and beautiful! they all can understand eachother as few can... only elephants can create families like that, and i am sure their biological families wouldnt want us to focus on what they lost, but LIVE EACH DAY NOW TO THE FULLEST with what THEY HAVE!!!! they have angels above always watching them, but here on earth, these ele's now have something so very true and rare in this world!!! they were chosen

I just watched a KZread video posted by THE WILD ELEPHANT and was disturbed by it. A group of men were rescuing an abandoned baby elephant and clumsily were force feeding it while it cried out in protest, gurgling, and milk spilling everywhere. They brought it by truck to an enclosure. No one was close to it trying to soothe it. The channel is requesting donations. Can anything be done? They may be well meaning but completely ingnorant and oblivious on how to treat a baby elephant, or they may be putting up videos just to collect money for themselves. Can this be investigated? I love your channel. You are doing everything right and are a huge blessing to the world.

This is so precious. Do you know if there is a reason for mostly young elephants to put their faces into the sand like Timisa and Khanysia are doing? I do not think I have ever seen an older elephant doing it that is why I am asking

This did my heart good. I was afraid Timisa would be too hesitant to play with Khanyisa again. Maybe Bubi got jealous because hers and Khanyisa’s bond was still new and she didn’t feel it solidified enough. Maybe as time went on Bubi realized the baby was indeed strongly attached to her and interactions with others wasn’t going to change that. I’m not an elephant mind-reader, lol, just some thoughts.

I just can't quit Smiling lol🤗. So lovely and 👎 have a heart!! My dentist recently passed. Yes!! He like to just kill domesticated and trophy. But was Johnny Depps dad in Willy Wonka!! Sadist dentist! Now some animals are safe due to his passing and my nightmares.

At first, I was confused and thought I was watching a Sheldrick Trust video with all their babies. But I saw the HERD label and not the Trust's. Finally I could recognised Timisa and Khanyisa. How playful they are in this new posting! 😊❤🐘

Wild animals get bored and something different in their habitat is exciting to them. I had a tree fall in a shallow pond and all the wildlife were attracted to it. Deer, wild turkeys, turtles, raccoons, ducks and squirrels seem to love it. It's a new feature in their world like the first time you have power windows in a car.

Just gorgeous to watch... Every kid loves a sandpit, regardless of species.. :)
