I started hating jessi encamp when he did that Seagal video. Not because i hate Seagal, but because Jessie said he only wanted to get Seagal's martial arts insights and nothing to do with politics, but he let Seagal rant about his political views in that vid. Plus Seagal's low kick defense was just stupid, and they showed it on video.

The problem of Steven is his big ego wich gives him a big mouth. No martial artist cares about comparing himself with others. I am sure Bruce Lee never did that and Van Damme or most of the others, not even Chuck will go on with this. Obviously if you say you can beat someone you will not engage in a fight because of that,Steven was not smart.

Don't forget about the martial artist who showed up at Seagal's dojo for the challenge. Jason DeLucia arrived with the issue of Black Belt in his hand along with his written response, and explained to chief instructor Matsuoka Haruo that he was answering the challenge. For about six months straight he attended every class, morning and evening, watching the Aikido classes while waiting for Seagal to respond. It's ironic that Seagal is the one who wound up affiliated with the UFC when Jason was the one who actually fought in it.

MMA is what existed 1000s of years ago .. Ground fighting has died out in china Wrestling in china exists to a degree. The funniest thing is that when he runs from a fight, he runs like a 10 year old girl.

I know a guy who worked on a set of one of his movies. He was curious of how Segal would counter a rear choke if he did it to him, so he did. A random nobody choked Segal out. Then Segal threatened his job if he ever told anyone.

What!!!! Steven Seagal never runs from a fight. He just happened to run to the buffet those days. Just bad timing that's all.

If you have watched any of Segals films of the last ~25 years you know he is a master of the grade school slap fight technique. That and the ever illusive "get the stunt man to do it" style.
