In this clip from J. Warner Wallace’s longer talk on the existence of God from cosmological evidence (based on his book, God’s Crime Scene), J. Warner offers three illustrations that will help you understand the degree to which the universe is fine-tuned for life. If the universe is this finely tuned, what should we infer about the existence of a cosmic “fine-tuner”?

All I can say, with tongue in cheek, is that I'm glad my Creator didn't make me as smart as Michio or Hawking or Dawson.

What he does not mention here is that you have to multiply each one of those odds with each other odds. When you get a sum by multiplying two different sets of odds, you then have to multiply that sum by the next set of odds… These numbers are so high they can’t even be understood or written, and are literally impossible.

It is amazing, that those who know the significance of these finely tuned constants can still pass over them as "accidents" that simply happened that way, without any design involved.

In the end, the infinity property of the math should be assigned somewhat for existence of the life. It can be the universe's count, universe's life or a God.

Oh dont worry they have a totally reasonable explanation!..........This finely tuned universe was spawned into being from nothing an infinite number of times. Now it all makes sense.

If we were as fine tuned as the universe after God makes us "new creatures in Christ", Christianity would be UNSTOPPABLE!!!!!! Without a DOUBT!!!

The odds of getting dealt a royal flush are the same as the odds of getting dealt any other 5 card hand. If the universe was different you would be asking the same question, why is it the way it is instead of some other way?, or you wouldn't exist at all to ask it. Have you ever dared to ask the same question about God that you ask about the universe? "Why is it the way it is instead of another way"? Seriously, how come nobody ever asks this question? For every way the universe could be, I can imagine a God that wanted to create the universe that way, so how is it that we got so lucky that our God just happened by random chance to be the kind of God that wanted to create a universe with trillions of black holes in it, and a tiny little speck of life? Is there another God who created our God? Or perhaps a multi God verse? I asked my old man this question, and every answer he gave for "why God is the way he is" could be applied to the universe itself.

That is exactly right. However, the odds of getting the SAME 5 cards, that many times, is the point. You need to watch the rest of JWW vids to get the answer to your second question, but if you keep thinking like that, and not seeing the big picture, you'll probably miss it as well.

    1. The odds of getting any 5 card hand that many times in a row are exactly the same as getting a royal flush 5 times in a row, so the analogy holds up just the same. 2. Yes, we would always want to ask "Why the universe is the way it is". Would you rather not ask at all? We would not have made any scientific progress at all if nobody had ever asked that question. 3. One such answer for why God made the universe the way it is, is that He wanted to provide scientific, observable means for us to know that He exists. 4. No there is no other God that created God. The definition of God is not Marvel's definition. Instead, it's a being that must have existed eternally, which means nothing could have ever created it or come before it. To suggest that there is a multi-God verse already contradicts this definition.

Jesus: John 14: 21 He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him.” 22 Judas (not Iscariot) *said to Him, “Lord, what then has happened that You are going to disclose Yourself to us and not to the world?” 23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him. 24 He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me. John 7: 37 Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. 38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’” 39 But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

In order to truly LOVE Him, we MUST receive the NEW nature He offers. Any other kind of love will not suffice. God must be worshipped in SPIRIT and in TRUTH.

there's said to be about 30 Constants that run our Universe. Imagining you are able to pick the right red dime THEN shoot right at the 1" bullseye at the other side of the observable universe THEN be able to deal yourself that MANY royal flushes in a row and SO ON... then i'll believe this universe happened by chance. Praise the Lord. In Jesus name, Amen!
