In Jonah he writes "I DESCENDED TO THE ROOTS OF THE MOUNTAINS". Well, Plate Tectonics teaches that the sea floor expands outward from within the earth and pushes beneath the neighboring plate in a subduction zone, pushing out mountains and volcanos and causing earthquakes particularly in the Ring of Fire region. The ocean floor is "the roots of mountains"

The secular version of plate tectonics is completely impossible. There is no way to push or pull continents with the crust. There is no way to subduct the crust either, as in cold slab subduction that causes the slab to sink into a hotter (“less dense”) mantle. The motion of the continents is best explained by the continental sprint that ensued because of the Flood. Today’s drift rates of continents is essentially residual kinetic energy from continental sprint that began ~ 4400 years ago. So the continents and their plates decelerating are causing sea floor spreading, not the other way around.

@17:50 "Paths of the ocean" could also describe migration routes of marine animals; something which would have been equally obscure to the ancients as ocean currents.

This has become one of my favorite videos of all time. I'll probably be watching this multiple times out of awe. I've always said that the Bible and sciene are not completely mutually exclusive. I can't even completely describe how much this spoke to me and relates to my personal life and love of space and the deep sea as a Christian. Currently on a mission of reading the complete Bible and CAN'T WAIT to get to Job to dissect it further!

The putative conflict between science and 'faith' is not about the ordinary facts, hypotheses or ever-changing theories of science, but about the modern underlying dogma of materialism that dominates the philosophical attitude of most modern scientists and indeed, ordinary people. . This is the conflict: has God spoken the cosmos into existence, or is is merely an unexplained 'given' that means nothing. At root the conflict is of world views. The worldview of metaphysical materialism (which undoes itself oxymoronically) on the one hand that tells us that nothing means anything (no one lives that way, by the way) and on the other hand the worldview of the Bible is that everything means something because it is the creation of the loving God.

Throughout scripture we're taught that His voice is described as being (like) the sound of many waters. MANY WATERS. Like a flood. Like the flood of Moses day purged the Earth of unrighteousness, so WILL His voice purge OUR carnal mind of unrighteous beliefs, miscomprehensions, misunderstandings of who the Son really is. So His voice will always cleanse our carnal minds of misbelief, or unbelief & clarify who He truly is. Cleans our Adamic minds until we fully retain the mind of Christ. Amen 😉

warmest greetings from NC, USA...utterly fascinating mr. wallace! unlike so much of the drivel written, filmed and spoken of online these days, the content found herein simply shouts truth, truth! i actually feel edified and blessed to have consumed ithis content rather than worse off for having sat thru the presentation, hoping at some point it would redeem itself, only to find myself, at the conclusion, wanting to holler at the presenter and scrub my eyes, ears, mind and heart of the nonsense i'd just endured...you are doing a great thing here sir...i pray your message spreads like wildfire- i will certainly do my part as best i can by verbally recounting and citing your finds with all those who will listen- as i am not on social media so thats the only way i can share- the old school way hahaha. we are told as disciples it is our primary duty in this world, as tough as it is in this PC worldview were almost legally trapped in, to help others get ta heaven by sharing the Word. i truly think if we can tap into the logic behind bible belief, as you have done, far more individuals will see these truths, or at least the seed of thot will be planted, and individuals then begin to seek. and as we know, when we seek, things begin to be revealed because we've shown faith- and then the more we see, the stronger the faith- then the stronger the faith- the more we see, the more the holy spirit can reveal because we are ready to receive the revelation...but thats just me...er my opinion rather...no scholarly expert here ;) well ive rambled on enuf i guess...thank you again for your work, for the workers are few...may God richly bless you now and forever, amen

The mid Atlantic ridge is from the continents breaking apart. The fountains of the great deep breaking open had to be in the ocean as it existed pre-Flood. They therefore could not have been any direct part of the mid Atlantic ridge since that ridge was under the continental mass before the Flood began. It seems that what those fountains is actually referring to are the water chambers that existed under the ocean floor. The US now sits ~ 2000 miles away from its original location, and may actually sit on top of some of those original fountains (water) of the great deep (ocean). Today, there are over 800,000,000 gallons of water that pour out every single day from the state of Missouri alone. The US is literally sitting on top of gigantic water chambers that are the source for our active springs.

I know this isn't that ancient in comparison to Job of course, but John of Damascus mentions it in 800AD, with himself being more convinced of a globe. And I think the globe flat controversy is actually being seen as early as Job and so is evolution from fish because all these concepts are either spoken by Job's musings or by God's rebuke towards Job for being so sure of himself on matters he wasn't there to witness

It is my belief that Genesis 1 describes String theory. String Theory describes strings of light energy, vibrating at varying frequencies, to manifest the various densities of matter. Co-founder of string field theory, Michio Kaku described the universe as "a symphony of strings", equating those vibrations to sonic resonance. In Genesis, God first created light. Then he spoke (on the light causing it to vibrate, ) bringing everything into existence. This is something that just dawned on me one day. Now it seems a no brainer to me.

Definitely got it right According to the scriptures. Introduction: Genesis Author: Moses Topic: the beginnings Date: ca. 1445 - 1405 BC background:Genesis appropriately appears as the first book of the Old Testament and serves as an essential introduction to the entire Bible. The Hebrew title is derived from the first word in the book, bereshit ("at the beginning"). "Genesis", the title in the Spanish Bible, Greek translation of the Hebrew title and means: "the origin, the source, the creation or is the beginning of something". Genesis is "the book of origins". The author of Genesis is not designated in the book. The testimony of the rest of the Bible, however, is that Moses was the author of the entire Pentateuch (ie, the first five OT books) and, consequently, of Genesis (eg, 1R 2: 3; 2R 14: 6; Ezra 6:18; Neh 13: 1; Dan 9:11; Neh 13: 1; Dan 9: 11-13; Mal 4: 4; Mr 12:26; Lk 16: 29,31; Jn 7 : 19-23 Acts 26:22; 1 Cor 9: 9; 2 Cor 3:15). Also, ancient Jewish writers and early church fathers unanimously testify that Moses was the author / editor of Genesis. therefore all the history of Genesis precedes the life of Moses, his role in writing Genesis was mainly to integrate, by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, all the chronicles and writings, from Adam to the death of Joseph, which are now preserved in Genesis. Perhaps an indication of the historical chronicles that Moses used in writing Genesis is found in the eleven occurences of the phrase "these are the generations of" (Heb. 'Eleh toledot), which can also be translated "these are the stories by" (see 2: 4; 5: 1; 6: 9; 10: 1; 11: 10,27; 25: 12,19; 36: 1,9; 37: 2). Genesis accurately records the creation, the beginning of human history, the origin of the Hebrew people, and God's covenant with them through Abraham and the other patriarchs. Their historical veracity as inspired Scriptures is certified in the NT by the Lord Jesus (Mt 19: 4-6; 24: 37-39; Le 11:51; 17: 26-32; Jn 7: 21-23; 8: 56 - 58) and the apostles (Ro 4; 1Co 15: 21-22,45-47; 2Co 11: 3; Gal 3: 8; 4: 22-24,28; 1Ti 2: 13-14; Heb 11: 4-22; 2P 3: 4-6; Judg 7,11). Modern archaeological discoveries confirm its historicity. Moses was extraordinarily prepared by his education (Acts 7:22) and by God to write this unique book of the Bible. Purpose: Genesis provides an essential foundation for the rest of the Pentateuch and all the biblical revelations that follow. It preserves the only trustworthy story about the origin of the universe, humanity, marriage, sin, cities, languages, nations, Israel, and the history of redemption. It was written according to God's purpose to give his covenant people in the OT and NT a fundamental understanding of himself, creation, the human race, the fall, death, judgment, the covenant, and the promise of redemption by the middle of the seed of Abraham. Overview: Genesis is naturally divided into two main parts. (A) Chaps 1-11 provide an overview of the origin of famine from Adam to Abraham and focus on five epochal events. (1) Creation: God created all things, and Adam and Eve whom he placed in the Garden of Eden (chs 1-2). (2) the fall: Adam and Eve by their transgression introduced the curse of sin and death into human history (ch. 3) (3) Cain and Abel: This tragedy set in motion the two fundamental currents of history: civilization humanist and redemptive remnant (chs 4-5). (4) The universal flood: The ancient world had become so bad in the time of Noah's generation that God destroyed it with a universal flood, saving only righteous Noah and his family as a remnant (chs. 6-10). (5 )The Tower of Babel: When the post-Flood world unified in idolatry and rebellion. God dispersed it by fragmenting language and culture, and scattering the human race throughout the earth (ch. 11). (B) Chs. 12-50 record the origin of the Hebrew people and focus on the progressive redemptive plan of God through the lives of the four great patriarchs of Israel: Abraham, Isaac, Jacob. God's call to Abraham (ch. 12) and his covenant relationships with him and his seed form the decisive beginning of the realization of God's purpose regarding the Redeemer and redemption in history. Genesis concludes with the death of Joseph and the impending enslavement of Israel in Egypt. special features: Seven main aspects or emphases characterize this book: (1) It was the first written book of the Bible (with the possible exception of Job) and records the beginning of human history, sin, the Hebrew people, and redemption. (2) The Genesis history encompasses a longer period of time than the rest of the Bible. It begins with the first human couple, spreading into pre-Flood world history, and then concentrating on Hebrew history as the redemptive stream that runs through the rest of the OT. (3) Genesis reveals that the material universe and life on earth are clearly the work of God and not a process independent of nature. Fifty times in chs. 1-2 God is the subject of verbs that show what He did as Creator. (4) Genesis is the book of the first events: it records the first marriage, the first family, the first birth, the first sin, the first murder, the first polygamist, the musical instruments, the first promise of redemption, and so on. . (5) God's covenant with Abraham, which began with his calling (12: 1-3), was formalized in ch. 15 and ratified in ch. 17, is of central importance throughout the Scriptures. (6) Only Genesis explains the origin of the twelve tribes of Israel. (7) It reveals how the descendants of Abraham ended up in Egypt (430 years), thus setting the scene for the exodus, which is the central OT redemptive event. Fulfillment in the New Testament: Genesis reveals the prophetic story of redemption and a Redeemer who comes through the seed of the woman (3:15), from the line of Seth (4: 25-26), from the line of Shem (9: 26-27) and of the seed of Abraham (12: 3). The NT applies 12: 3 directly to God's provision of redemption in Jesus Christ (Gal 3: 16,29). Many people and events in Genesis are mentioned in the NT in relation to faith and justice (eg, Ro 4; Heb 11: 1-22), God's judgment (eg, Le 17: 26-29,32; 2P 3:63 Jude 7,11a), and the person of Christ (eg, Mt 1: 1; Jn 8:58; Heb 7).

The Hebrew Mazzaroth is the 12-13 constellations. Today we refer to as the zodiac (after Nimrod corrupted the original system and used it for control over the masses) . So basically The Father is asking Job if he can "keep perfect time" or can he guide the paths of the planets, spin of the Earth etc.

Venoah account is in fact a ships log. So it does represent firsthand data. A study of the ages of the patriarchs will reveal that everyone before Noah's father had their child at an age approximately three times normal. But Noah and his father were not on the Assyrian three festival calendar, they appear to have been on the lunar calendar and had their children 12 times older than normal. Everyone after Noah appears to have been on the solar year with a normal birth age for each generation. this is important because if I corrected for these and averaging them we can then use that average over the entire chronology from Jesus back to Adam. And it reveals that the Noah flood corresponds to 1631 BC which is supported by tree ring data as the time of the aquatic volcano at Santorini. Yes the Mediterranean went up in the air and then rained out in the Ararat range causing a 10 foot layer of sediment in the Euphrates and an 80 mile wide sea in the middle of Iraq which is flatter than a pancake. it seems that the ancients were very dedicated to preserving God's truth. in another study it was determined that rot and strength tests of the shroud of Turin could be compared and combined to produce an extremely accurate date when compared with multiple control samples of younger and older ages. The result is in fact extremely accurate. And recently it was corroborated by x-ray scattering which provides a broad multi dimensional age assay which when properly accounted will show both its approximate age (2000 years old) but also will account for subtle differences in the quality of preservation of each fabric in the control group such that multi dimensional analysis will precisely correct the ages for a very accurate date similar to the above study. Each of these papers is available at theubie.com /Noah-Flood.htm. and /ShroudDate.htm thank you for a wonderful lecture, I also studied the Genesis account and found it was an exceptional description of the formation of light, matter, gravitational bodies, life the clearing of the skies (remember Venus is all cloudy) and even the occurrence of man. We are very blessed to be given these ancient prophetic morocles. but then which direction can one look and not see a miticle. thanks. again.

If you consider the names of Job's 3 friends, Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite, these may give you some hints about the time when the EVENTS of the book of Job occurred, not necessarily the age of the book of Job, though. Eliphaz, the ONLY Eliphaz mentioned in any other book of the Bible, was Esau's son (Genesis 36), and his son was Teman. He probably lived in an area settled by Teman, so he was called a Temanite. Bildad was probably a descendant of Shuah the son of Abraham by Keturah (Genesis 25). Zophar the Naamathite is a mystery. He could not be a descendant of Naamah of Genesis 4, because she was of Cain's lineage and died in the flood. Nor could he be a descendant of Naaman, the son or grandson of Benjamin. Benjamin was born in 2216 FC and went to live in Egypt in 2238 FC. None of the descendants of Naaman would have been born by then. Then, there's Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite. The Buzites would have been descendants of Buz, the nephew of Abraham (Genesis 22:22). Anyway, all 4 of these men were present in the time of Genesis, and we know the approximate time. Bildad would have been born some time after 2104 FC (From Creation), Eliphaz some time after 2148 FC, and we can't be certain about the birthdates of Zophar and Elihu. But these 4 men were all present in the time of the book of Genesis. So, around 2368 FC, I think, along comes Moses. He was eighty years at the time of the exodus. Who knows at what age he wrote the Pentateuch or if he also wrote the book of Job? He might have, or Job could have already been written before he arrived on the scene. Since he came after many of the early events had already happened, he may have written them based on verbal memory accounts of the elders, like the present books of Enoch had to be written after the division of the languages at the tower of Babel and the taking away of the knowledge of the original language (of man, God, and the original book of Enoch). The BOE WOULD BE the oldest book, if we had it. But we could not read it because God took away the understanding of that language.

God stretched out the sky, and one day it will be 'rolled up'. Revelation 6:14. “And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places." That's a fascinating and scary thought. What was there before, and what will be visible again once the facade is removed? Think about it, the sky (space) seems to mostly be nothing already. So it's as if we're talking about a different plane of existence. A veil removed. Moreover, verse 16 of the same chapter says this: "And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:" Sounds like we're going to be exposed to the spiritual realm, as the physical disappears? I don't want to blaspheme, but I remember verses such as Exodus 33:20, which says “And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.” When you think how terrifying the descriptions of cherubim are, you can only wonder the overwhelming impression of witnessing "the face of him that sitteth on the throne", whether he looks the same as humans, or entirely different, the holiness and sheer power is so much that no human flesh could see him and live. Perhaps that's changed since Christ died and rose again in his flesh, redeeming us, but clearly it will still be a terrifying sight. Even Christ appears to John, in Revelation, as a lamb with seven horns and seven eyes. We can't comprehend the nature of the spiritual realm, so it will blow our minds.

One good lesson from Job's rebuke by the Lord, is to recognise that my understanding is not as good or deep as I often like to presume it is. How profound is our grasp on the purpose of God in creation, after all? Not very, I'd estimate. After all, we weren't there when he laid the foundations of the world. These foundations include the principles for the world's purposes, ie wisdom, which Proverbs says was the first thing God created.

Well, it depends on your interpretation of Genesis, and of modern science. Since we didn't live to see the start of time, space, and matter, we make guesses about what it was like, based on what we see today, and assumptions about how things always were. One camp of modern science assumes uniformitarianism and says that all laws of nature acted the same way all the time - even though we cannot prove this; if you take this as fact, then Genesis must be parenthetical, because in our current laws there was no way for vegetation to exist before the sun, and the sun before the other stars. However, another camp of modern science - backed by people like the folks at Answers in Genesis - does not assume uniformitarianism, and instead believes that God acted in the exact way described in Genesis of chronological order; they look at the world using the same tools as everyone else, and see the world as proof of a literal interpretation. You could say that the second camp treats Genesis as eyewitness testimony. You should do your own research, and note that everyone has bias. Have a great day!

@@ColdCaseChristianity Can I ask if you have any insight into the prophesy of a new heavens and a new earth God promises are to be created Isaiah 65:17; 66:22; 2 Peter 3:13? Also keeping in mind Christ is a new Creation and those worshipping the Father will give Glory to the Only Begotten Son of the Most High God in His Second coming as written Hebrews 1:6 and Revelation 12:5 being fulfilled prophesy? My God usually answers me when I don't understand but not regarding whether it will be a literal New Heavens and new earth or the same Elements and Constellations having a new Kingdom Rule by Christ who is now called Emmanuel Matthew 1:23 in the New Creation. Considering the Heavens are to be rolled up I understand that to be the wicked angels as written in Isaiah 34:4 for it will not be the obedient angels who will be of the army of the heavens will it? People think militarised Israel is Zion and God's people but they are not. Only those obedient to the God of Abraham will possess a place in Zion in the day of redemption and blessing or retribution and severe punishment. Those who have not kept faith with justice and truth and have hidden the name of the Most High God from mankind will perish. Those having true faith will be saved.

Isaiah 40:22 and the shape of the earth by Dominic Statham The first line of Isaiah 40:22 reads, “It is he [i.e. God] who sits above the circle of the earth.” Some have argued from this that Scripture teaches the earth to be a flat disc, rather than a globe. However, even if the original Hebrew is correctly understood to refer to a circle, this doesn’t necessarily indicate something flat; a sphere appears as a circle when seen from above-and indeed from whatever direction it is viewed. Moreover, there is good reason to believe that the word translated ‘circle’ might be better translated ‘sphere’.

Either the king james translators were just taking poetic license (excellent as it might be) or there's some nuance to that word modern translators aren't getting.
